- Great sound, substandard features- April 8, 2020
The sound produced by the speaker is amazing. The ability to use an assistant to play music works as expected. Here is the real downfall, it will not operate as a speakerphone. I have a Bose Revolve and Revolve+ that can operate as a speaker phone as well as stream music via bluetooth. I also have a pair of 700 headphones that still offers the assistant feature and can handle phone calls. This was a big miss on this speaker, especially based on the price. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. If all you want is a speaker for music, then this is great. However, if you want a multi-functional speaker, this would not be the best choice.

I own the Revolve & Revolve+ speakers and thought how can portable sound get any better? I opened this new speaker and hit play... incredible, I have been blown away on how crisp and clean the sound is. From all angles it is so clear and hits the perfect tone of the music. The bass is fantastic (wouldn't expect any less from Bose). I'm even happier because I purchased two to use on Apple AirPlay 2. It truly sounds like a robust professional system. To top it off, the packaging is really nice and the quality of the outside of the speaker is really slick! Great job Bose. If you're considering a portable speaker, trust me, look no further this is it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been playing with this speaker non-stop for about a week and I’m pretty impressed. It is such a good little speaker. The sound quality is amazing and the charge is pretty long lasting. Still haven’t had it go dead, because I easily drop it on the charging base. Love being able to take it with me everywhere. I sometimes even take it in the car or my bag with me because you never know where you’ll end up! Perfect for the backyard or park bbq or the office tranquil environment. The sound quality is great for all genres of music including audio books. Very crisp and ability to use speakerphone through it is awesome!!! Well made product!
