Please be aware that these headphones also come with a wire. However, if you are using the wire over the Bluetooth, the action button, volume controls don't function. The NANO 7 won't recognize Bluetooth even though the function is available.
These headphones are great but they will want to know your name, blood type, location and sexual position preference in order to give you the privilege of using them.
love it, i used to have beats and now when i wear Bose i know that Bose is way better than betas, i used to think that beats were better, try these if you think that beats are better.
Everything You need in a headphone is freaking here!!! No cons...just pros only for this product! Highly recommend to anybody for personal or business use!
I love these headphones
If you wanna something to be able to zone out sometimes, this is the headphone you need. Good sound quality and I love the option of noise cancelling
When a product inspires you to the point of writing a review over a cup of coffee in the morning, that alone speaks for itself. Coming from someone who normally doesn't write reviews, even more so. This brings me to the QC35II's. I've always been a fan of music, and while I don't necessarily consider myself an 'audiophile', I've owned and experienced a wide selection of audio equipment to appreciate what good musical presentation sounds like. So when I found out about the QC35II's and compared them to headphones like the Sony WH1000XM2's, I ultimately decided on a pair and could not be happier with that decision. The QC35II's are astonishing to say the very least. For comparison, I've previously mostly used in-ear headphones and could listen to those for 1-2 hours at most. With these, I can easily push close to 8 hours if I wanted! The soundstage is so warm, so detailed and very natural and pleasing. Bass is rich and exceptionally deep, highs sparkle and dazzle to life and mids are so beautifully sculpted, you can almost 'feel' your music come to life. Something only experiencing the QC35II's will truly justify. Stereo separation and sound imaging blows me away every time as well, to the point where the QC35II's could rival a decent pair of reference monitors. I also find the QC35II's to be more comfortable than the WH1000XM2's both in terms of weight and clamping force, which was partly why I opted for the QC35II's over the WH1000XM2's. Then comes the noise cancellation. This is something you will need to experience to appreciate, but let me tell you... It's good. Very good. I work in an office setting, and things like background conversation, keyboard sounds and even the sound of your own breath all fade away until they are barely audible. In noisier settings like in transit, with your music at 1/3 or 1/4 volume - you won't hear much around you at all. I'd estimate about 80% of ambient noise is being cancelled, so it goes without saying, definitely don't use these while walking. Phone calls made from the QC35II's have been perfect as well, both in and outdoors. Battery life is impressive! I personally use my QC35II's about 6-8 hours a day and they last 2-3 days on a charge. You can use them with the included headphone cable if you prefer which further extends the already great battery life. They support a 2.5mm headphone jack on the actual ear cup as opposed to the standard 3.5mm though, so that's something to consider if you happen to own a few 3.5mm cables for use with a DAC etc. For wireless listening, the maximum Bluetooth codec here is the 'AAC' standard which should satisfy most peoples' needs. In comparison, the WH1000XM2's support codecs that can handle higher bit-rate streaming including LDAC and ATPx to name a few, only beneficial though if your audio source device also supports the same codec. If that's important to you, then you may want to consider other headphones or skip Bluetooth altogether and wire these into your source. Moving onto build quality, the QC35II's shine here as well, and in the 2 weeks that I've used them, they've held up just fine. There are no squeaks when adjusting the headband, and nothing feels cheap or poorly engineered. All of the physical buttons also provide a tactile response indicative of good quality. Of the two colors options available - the matte black finish (that I went with) not only looks clean, but I'd imagine also hides scratches better than the silver finish. All in all these are an exceptional pair of over-ear headphones, and you will truly love the experience you get each time you put them on! They literally tune the world out, and showcase nuances in your music that you'd otherwise never know were present. If you're looking for a pair of headphones that offer noise cancellation and a balanced sound sig
It's a great headphone until something goes wrong, and you won't be able to get it fixed as there is NO service center anywhere in Canada, you will have to send it to a third party service center in Toronto! Ridiculous. Purchased my QC35 headphone a year and half ago, the switch became faulty and the headset would turn on by itself and drains the battery. I will never buy another Bose product in Canada.
PROS: Truly the ultimate listening experience. So comfortable I forget there on sometimes, any long wavelength sound (deeper lower sounds) it completely drowns out and add a little bit of music and you cant hear anything low or high pitched. I hear sounds I don't hear with any other headphones on. Such a long battery life as well. Truly impressive. CONS: The ear cups get cracked and wear out if you sweat in them often, getting the extra protection for that alone is worth it
Got this as a gift, it is amazing how much quality and feature this one provides.
Bought these headphones a week ago and have been very satisfied so far. Google Assistant works like a charm and a very convenient perk. Sound is balanced, and the noise cancelling feature is crucial for tuning out unwanted noise. The headphones are also very comfortable as I've worn them for many hours (6+) on end. I highly recommend these.
I just realized that my Beats headphone sucks when I try the Bose headphone. Amazing sound quality(much better than Beats) and it is very comfortable to wear. My first pair has some bluetooth connection problems. Exchanged it and the new one works great!
Amazing headphones. The reason I bought this headphone was for its noise canceling feature which is still the best in the market. The sound quality is amazing, they are extremely comfortable for long hours, they are soft and lightweight and I charge it only twice a week and I spend around 5 hours every day on these headphones.
Bought them at Christmas time. The noise cancelling feature is awesome. Works really well. especially on airplanes. You can get work done in a busy, loud coffee shop, no problem. Had some issues with the noise cancelling feature. I started hearing static noise in the background after a while. My main concern was that I bought them in Canada and now I'm in the Netherlands, not having the original box or receipt, etc.. I called up Bose and they helped me out right away. No fuss, no complaints. I was extremely impressed with their customer service and their willingness to just send me a new headset. Battery life is amazing. Comfortable and easy to use. Cons: Don't use the Bose phone App. The app does not help or do anything special but it does record your audio information and sends it to Bose, even though it violates the general customer privacy act.
For me I struggled to justify paying the high price for these headphones. After spending a lot of time online (about 3 weeks) daily trying to find these exact headphones for less; I wasn't able to and decided to fork up the cash. I had done my research and was convinced that the Bose QC35 II were the best noise-cancelling headphones on the market- the noise-cancelling was the primary reason for this purchase. I am a full-time grad student, I spend alot of time studying in loud coffee shops and "loud" libraries, I also do great deal of commuting on the train and metro. Lastly, I have ADHD; for people like me with this condition; we very easily get distracted- the slightest whisper can break my concentration; it's also common to have trouble focusing for long periods of time. For people like me I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Noise-cancelling is exceptional. Sound quality is great IMO (might not rank the best in this category so may not be right for someone who values this above all). Looks great in silver, ultra-comfortable even after 6 hrs of wear. Still figuring out the google-assistant.
If you are someone who often goes on flights or likes to listen to music while studying, this is an essential product to have. The quintessential noise cancellation that the QC35 II provides helps you listen to my music without any major background noise disruption. Do not expect it to cancel out every single noise out there—you will still hear people talking (albeit fuzzily), and louder noises (think loud banging on doors) will obviously be heard. The comfort of these headphones are top-notch as well - you can wear these for several hours and NOT have your head or ears hurt FOR ONCE. But, if you're expecting the best sound quality for this price range, you're looking at the wrong place. You can find other headphones around the same price range from Sennheiser or Sony that can provide better sound (at the cost of world-class noise cancellation and more importantly, comfort).
I was very skeptical of anything modern when it comes to music. I'm a vinyl guy with high end equipment... problem is that this doesn't make me very mobile. I received a pair of these headphones for Christmas and was impressed. I could actually hear the individual instruments on my tunes. Functionality was very user friendly. Great product, worth every penny.
Terrific headphones so far. The ANC is nothing short of amazing. Sound quality is very good to my ears. I have it paired on my iPad Air 2, iPad Pro 10.5", Asus ROG desktop computer, Asus ROG laptop, and Samsung Galaxy S8 phone. Although Bose doesn't recommend it, the QC35ii even works on both of my Samsung TV's (UN55JS8500 and UN55MU8500) with no audio delay. It took me a while to figure out how to successfully pair on the first attempt though, I think there is some sort of competition when other BT devices are within range. So, after some troubleshooting, this is what worked for me: Pair the QC35ii directly to the TV first, with BT switched off on other nearby devices. Then use the Bose Connect app for switching, once the headphones already have the TV and it's name in memory (it can store up to 8 devices). That's it from me, but I highly recommend you YouTube "JimsReviewRoom" for a very comprehensive review on these and other high-end BT headphones and comparisons.
The default firmware sounds great with the Bose QC35 ii but after updating to 1.3.4 it has better bass and slightly warmer. When looking at reviews that mention sound quality differences keep in mind they might not be on latest firmware.
Returned my Monster Clarity HD headphone because I didn't like on the ear headphones. They did sound good though. I decided to invest in a better wireless headphone. Decided on either Bose QC35, Beats Studio 3 or Sony WH 1000mx2. I tested all three at Best Buy connecting via Bluetooth to my iPhone. Went back and forth between all three and felt the Bose was the winner. They sounded the best even though the Sony had slightly punchier bass but the Bose has very nice bass as well. The Bose sounded more clear and better over all in my opinion. The beats were great for rap and hip hop because of the extra bass but didn't sound as good for other types of music. For comfort the Bose was the clear winner as well. As for noise cancelling the Bose and the Sony were about tied then the Beats last. You can't go wrong with the Bose but my second choice would be the Sony WH 1000mx2
These headphones are incredible. I was walking to downtown on a busy afternoon, listening to sweet dreams by the eurythmics, and I didn’t even hear the slightest outside noise, especially the group of muggers sneaking up behind me. They took everything I had on me, expect for the headphones, so I wasn’t too upset. Strongly recommend these if you want to live fearlessly.
Overall I like these headphones, BUT a bluetooth connection to Skype on Android simply does not work and googling I find that Bose has no intention to fix it. At this price not being able to use Skype is not acceptable. The other problem to be aware of is how sweaty your head will be if you use these in warm weather.
