Canon CL-241 5209B001 Original Color Ink Cartridge

i have literally 20 different printers that all have scammed me on ink, ive been searching and searching for a decent one that can hold ink and i usually get the printers free or on sale etc. anyways my last printer was a epson that guzzled ink in less then a month and half the time the new inks wouldnt work. well i decided to buy this printer pixma something something that uses this ink, the sample inks it came with lasted a long time i was suprised because sample inks are only half filled. when they finally did run out i bought these inks. so far they have lasted alot of regular prints. i havent printed many photo pictures, just mapquests mainly and its doing decent.

Bulk stores like Costco and Walmart tend to package cartridges in multipacks. For the Pixma printers that use the 240XL, these typically are two 240XXL black cartridges and one 241XL color cartridge. Although one might assume that printing in draft or grayscale might make these multipacks cost-effective, the Pixma uses color for EVERY page it prints, presumable to enhance the blacks. As a result, you end up emptying the color cartridge (and the printer WILL NOT PRINT EVEN IN GRAYSCALE if it is empty) and still have an ample quantity of black ink. I recommend that Canon customers purchase the cartridges separately on demand rather than try to save money with bargain purchases.

During this national/world emergency almost everything is in short supply, but ink?! I had been at Target they showed that they had (3) but they were nowhere to be found. Avon, Ohio store showed that they had one. It took about 15 minutes to find the last cartridge. The store (all stores) had been severely shopped (like a bomb went off) and nothing was where it should be. (incoherent noise). Please recover the entire store on a daily basis so we do not have to spend an inordinate amount of time in the store/public. The printer cartridge functioned as it should.
