  • New to Astronomy

from Kamloops, BC on January 25, 2019

Take my review with a grain of salt as i am new to telescopes. Installation: Picture by picture guide to installation was good. Cell adapter installation was a major pain. Viewing: I have been out with the family a half dozen times and found the tracking scope handy to target and the fine tuning adjusting is very easy to continue to keep objects in view. I took some amazing photos of the moon with my cell phone during the lunar eclipse. Attempted to put the cell adapter on a 2nd time to less than happy results so be patient with that. Extras: Software it comes with is awesome, can set it to your city and it will give you details on what will be in the night sky and where to look at any time during the night. Very nice bonus. Overall: 4/5 Seems to come on sale a lot, so grab it on sale and you won't be disappointed.
