Accessorize your network router or switch with this Cisco® SFP GLC-EX-SMD transceiver module. It supports data transfer speeds of up to 1 Gbps to provide fast internet connections. This GigE Cisco SFP mini-GBIC transceiver module uses a wavelength of 1310nm for optimum data transmission over single-mode fiber. With a throughput of up to 40 kilometers on single-mode fiber cables, this device is suitable for installations that require data transfer over long distances.
The device is hot-swappable for fast integration with your network equipment. This Cisco SFP transceiver module supports digital optical monitoring (DOM) to enable easy network monitoring and troubleshooting when issues arise. It works with a wide variety of network equipment for wide-ranging use. Featuring a small factor and an LC connector, this single-mode transceiver module supports easy transportation and installation in high-density patch applications. With a temperature operating range of 23 degrees Fahrenheit through 185 degrees Fahrenheit, this network converter module works in certain applications with extreme ambient temperatures
