Cordoba C5 Classical Guitar - Natural

I was skeptical to buy a classical guitar at first, not only because it's more than I would spend, but I was also worried that I wouldn't really notice any difference between my other guitars. The moment I started playing I could definitely tell the difference between my other dull, lame guitars and this one with such beautiful tone. The fret board is made of very durable wood and cleans really well. The body does slightly mark if you tap hard on it with your nails, it's only noticeable at angles. Overall this purchase really changed my outlook on spending a good amount of money on a guitar and I am totally happy with with it!

I previously owned one of the mid-range Yamaha classical guitar and I wasn’t very happy with it. After a few years I decided to try the Cordoba, and I have to say the rumors on how amazing and warm the Cordoba sound is true. I paid about the same amount for both guitars and but the difference between the both of them is night and day; not to mention, the c5 is drop dead gorgeous and I don’t mean it in a hypothetical way. The guitar is a full sized classical guitar, with a warm, rich and deep tone. The tuning machine or tuning pegs feels tight, solid and expensive, meaning there isn't any play when you turn it one way and then the other. I give this guitar 5 stars, but I would give it 6 if Cordoba makes another sub model that says c5m or something. I personally prefer a guitar that is not French polished, in other words, a guitar that doesn't have a glossy look to it. A matte finish or less glossy look would give it a more expensive look. Plus if I accidentally scratch it lightly, it wouldn't be very obvious. One last thing, kudos to Cordoba for the truss rod and sexy Rosette. ;)
