  • pretty amazing once you figure out the iCUE app that runs it .

I needed to replace an older mouse, it had to have easy switchable DPI for when I do 2D texture painting and work in other apps like Blender. I was looking for one that had a 'sniper' button, so I could quickly change DPI while pressed so to not have to cycle through DPI all the time. ( you can configure any button to do this on this mouse ) It has been very easy to set up and works far better than expected. I mainly play GTA V online some RTS games, It has made it's so easy to move keyboard shortcuts to the mouse. You can switch profiles on the fly. Note one thing that was not clear at the start, it has 3 hardware stored profiles. to use them and switch between them, iCUE app must not be running, or you have to be using this mouse on computer or console that does not have iCUE ap at all. If you are running iCUE , the profile switcher button, only switches between computer storred profiles that you program it as available. Once I figured that out I have made profiles for all my app and games really easy. I use the RGB lighting to help me indicate and remember what profile is active, it ha s3 zones, and you can configure each per profile. Great mouse and woudl recommend it.

  • Corsair Schimitar = Good buy

I bought this mouse for computer programming (not for gaming). I use the 12 buttons for lines of code that is repetitive in nature. Works great: Buttons never accidentally pressed as firm. Bought the M65 last year, trigger button on the M65 was too sensitive. The Corsair Schimitar is perfect. The iCue software takes a few minutes to figure out but not too difficult.
