- Worth switching from the old platter drive- September 9, 2019
This inexpensive SSD gave my 8 year old laptop a new life. Easy to migrate from the old drive through the software downloaded from Crucial. After that was lightning speed from an 8 year old PC. Don't know the reliability but so far so good.

Report - Can’t Complain about Crucial!- March 28, 2021
This particular SSD replaced a severely slow and decrepit HDD in a laptop. I think my kids dropped it a few too many times because that laptop took MINUTES to load. Now, it boots and runs like brand new. Still have an old-school hard drive? Use Crucial’s online scanner to find out what SSD will fit your computer. Crucial is the only SSD Brand I have used at home and for the workplace computers. No, I don’t work for them. I’m not even in the IT department. I just know enough to be dangerous.

Crucial - MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal Solid State Drive I like it so far. It made my laptop work again - hooray! And I didn't have to buy another battery like the laptop manufacturer kept saying I did. For my use this is more than enough storage and the best thing about it is that there are no moving parts to break or wear out. Thanks Crucial!
