  • Short Life

I received this blender as a gift while living at home. I enjoyed using it weekly for a year or two, then it sat in the cupboard because I had no use for it. Tried to use it the other day, and the blender doesn't receive any power. Even if the blender is 10 years old, I think it should still work. I thought Cuisinart made higher quality, and longer lasting products.

Unit seems to have a few major issues! there was a smell of burning rubber any time it was used, seems to overheat from time to time. Owned it for 1-2 months, the metal parts of the blender broke off today while in use. smoothie full of blender parts.

Purchased this on a Saturday, used it the first time on Sunday with no complaints or issues. Tried it Monday morning, no power. It's completely dead after 1 use, so going right back to the store.
