Don't be fooled by the nice stainless steel shell. This could be a good product if all the parts connecting to the powerful 300W motor were made of metal instead of cheap fragile plastic. Ours got little use and was in the garbage within weeks after the expiry of the warranty. Very short-sighted design approach for what was a premium division. Conair Corp should maybe take some of the decision power away from the bean counters so that they don't win the obsolescence race to the bottom.
