    Easy to install. Called Technical Support for some settings issue and got a very quick response. Happy with the product.

  • Doesn't work well with Hitron CDA3-35 TPIA Modem

    I have Third Party Internet Access using the Rogers cable network. This router doesn't work well with Hitron CDA3-35 TPIA cable modem. The only way this router will obtain an IP from the modem is to hard reset the cable modem with the DIR-2055 already fully started. Power cycle the router,won't connect without hard reset on the modem. Power cycle the modem,won't connect until you hard reset the modem. Dlink support is useless. The repair connection icon on the routers webpage used to reestablish connectivity (until the latest firmware update),but any changes to the default settings would be lost. After the last firmware update,the repair connection option does not work. I purchased this on July 27,2019 and gave up on it today,Oct 17. I replaced it with the tp-link Archer C7 AC 1750 wireless router which worked straight out of the box,no worries.

    I was getting wifi connection out from my 4 year old route,but with this one all my home devices were connecting smoothly and fast . The setup was easy,i love the fact that it can interact by voice command using my Google home . The most important is it's security as i don't have to worry about the firmware as it get updated automatically . I love it,i do recommend it.

    I have approx. 20 devices in my house (TV's,phones,xbox,etc). This router handles them all very good. I used to have issues with my door bell camera disconnecting all the time with my older router,but with this one,the issue is gone. I also noticed my coverage has increased which is great. I was hoping not to have to get a range extender also. With this router,I don't. Would recommend

    So hard to connect took me hole to contact D-Link Support and Rogers and still doesn’t work.

    remplacer un routeur de vidĂŠotron qui avait des spot mort frĂŠquament par ce bon D-Link, bonne porte et pas de temps mort, parfait!

    Purchased this last weekend as I'm always having to reboot my current router (NG I think). This one is great. I get signal all around me house now and I didnt have any issue. I did however contact dlink support for a question I had, they responded quick and were very helpful.
