    Tried to install gigabit fibre, and each port on this router is limited to 100mbps although it advertises up to 800mbit! Buyer beware, this will be returned!!

  • Save the money

    This is by far the worst AC1200 router you can buy. Save the money or spend a little more. Lackluster interface and options,feels like an unfinished product. Constantly drops connections both wired and wireless connections. I bought this for the better speeds but my 5 year old Netgear still out performs this D-Link pos.

  • Constant resets required

    After having this thing for about 2 months it's time to replace it. Unlike others I have no problems with speed or range, when it's working. It needs to be reset at least once a day, not only does it drop wifi, but the wired connection is dropped as well. If for some reason you do decide to buy this router, do yourself a favour and keep both the box and receipt so you can return it after you've learned your lesson.

  • Operation during the first two weeks

    Since the first two weeks of operation (about 16 hours a day), this router works superbly all over the house (two floors). Two computers (MacBook Pro, MacBook Air) are connected to Internet via Wi-Fi and two others (PowerMac 9600, PowerMac G4 without Wi-Fi facility) share this connexion via Ethernet network. Moreover, data can be exchanged between all those computers. Such operations were impossible before.

    We used this router for over a year before finally realizing our internet problems were not the service and were actually the router. Don't be fooled by the price. It's not worth the hassle for a sub-par product.

  • Constant reconnects and reboots

    Bought this router thinking I was getting a good deal for the specs, but after a few months it became near unusable. The router constantly kicks devices off the network for no apparent reason and even shuts off completely when things go really wrong. Even after a factory reset, the issues are not being resolved and now this occurs on a daily basis. Definitely look for a different brand of router.

    I read some of the other reviews and decided to give this model a chance. Everything is working great for me. Set up was simple and all my devices connected right away. Can't ask for much more
