Terrific device. Took me all of 15 minutes from the time I opened the box to install these. They work like a charm. House built in 1988. Only issue might be the two ethernet cables supplied are only about 3 feet (1 meter) long. Needed to run ethernet from my computer room upstairs (4 level back split) to the family room downstairs to my Xbox One x. Plugged them in (they have a handy pass-thru plug so you can unplug a socket, plug these in, then plug into the device socket) and they worked immediately, all green lights. Turned on my Xbox and it had already set itself up for a "wired connection". I have no speed numbers but there was a big update waiting on the Xbox and it was installed very quickly. Well worth the money. Note that this is NOT a wi-fi booster., it replaces wi-fi with an actual wire that is already in your walls! Really cool.

  • Excellent Works Well

These work very well. Extended my network from the basement to the second floor where reception is spotty. No problems very reliable. Be aware that if too many power hungry devices are connected to the same outlet your will experience connection issues. Just move to a less load laden outlet.

  • Works until you need their technical support

I bought this product 2 months ago, and now it's not working correctly, low speeds and I contacted the support center. Their only answer is to check my outlets and they say that sometimes the house doesn't offer structure for this product. Buy it if you don't care about support, because D-link's support is terrible. Thanks.

Bought it to improve Internet in my garage which is 100 ft from house it has 100 am service panel connected to house. Works perfect I tried wiffi extender but lost too much speed unreliable. I get the same speed now in garage use my android tv box to stream shows. I give it 5 stars

  • Didn't Work For Me- D-Link said- "not working properly".

Bought this and worked at first for about 10 minutes, even worked with my older Dlink (309) powerline adapters. Then, stopped. Would not even communicate with each other in the same room or on a powerbar. House is less than 10 years old. Returned them to Bestbuy (no problem) and exchanged for another pair hoping I just got a bad unit. Nope, the new ones did the exact same thing: middle light red on one, no middle light on the other. Dlink confirmed, via phone, "they don't seem to be working properly". I would avoid these.

  • Maybe it works but not in my apartment with my fusebox

I have tried this model to connect two different rooms in my apartment. The setup is super simple. One happy, just do not forget to activate the encryption (128 bits compared to usually 256 in HTTPS) by pushing 2s the button below each plug (same mode, they can be swapped) on one plug then on the other. Both plugs were directly on the wall outlet. It works fine in the same room (tried 3 different outlets) but it does not when the second box is in another room (tried 3 different rooms) . If in a different room, they are on a different fuse. The apartment (1988) is equipped with Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI) I believe, not with the old fuses which had to be replaced once fused. Maybe there is some filtering of some sort between the different fuses and circuits. I will have to look at a WIFI extender instead...

  • Frequent disconnects

Suffering frequent disconnects. Will lose all connectivity, then a minute or two later connectivity returns. I am a professional network engineer that's been networking since LANTastic days (late 80's early 90's) and the lack of any sort of interface, and essentially zero support from the vendor - means it's not possible to actually troubleshoot why these disconnects are occuring.

  • Every thing is fine

It works as it should do. Very stable. I put the product between client machines and another router which restricts the connection with Mac address. And, this powerline product behaves like Access Point. That means, my router check directly the Mac addresses of client machine, not the powerline product. It impressed me. I'm satisfied very much and maybe buy it again.
