Paid 100 dollars and spent 5 hours trying to put it together, didn't work. I consider myself a smart guy and I'm very good when it comes to technology, this doesn't work. Terrible product.

  • Directions don't work

I followed the directions on pairing the extender with the router by pressing the WPS button on both devices. It doesn't work. You have to download the QRS Mobile app to your phone or tablet to set it up, and to set it up with your computer you have to use an ethernet cable. Other than that I now have full wifi where I need it.

I have spent hours working to get this thing setup. I have gone into my router to make sure settings work, I have tried many different ways to set it up. I am returning because honestly it shouldn’t be hours of my day to try to get it to work.

I purchased this product to try to extend the range of my wifi into my garage(Yes I understand that is a pretty difficult task so keep reading). The wireless modem provided by Rogers is located in my living room near the front of my house, the garage is a little bit behind the very rear of the house as it is not attached. I have an ethernet cable run through the walls all the way to the back of the house and hardwired the unit to the modem. The signal strength was fantastic! When my computer was literally 18 inches from the unit... I literally walked outside right on the other side of the GLASS window where the unit was installed and my devices couldn't even find the access point. When connected to my computer via wireless, my download speed was 500kbps... while hard wired it is nearly 200mbps, and on my regular wifi network I still manage to get around 100mbps with low signal strength.

  • Better Than I Expected

Was unable to connect the extender by the "WPS" method (the quick way), Bell equipment in the house. Logged into the device using the web browser. This took a few minutes and went smoothly. Was able to set names and passwords for the 2.4G and 5G systems quickly and easily. I now have solid wifi for all our phones and tablets (Apple devices). it appears to work for the 100 meter range stated in the specs.

I bought this to get signal in my backyard and it worked like a charm. I also picked up a camera so I could monitor my dog when I am at work. So far with the extender, I am very happy. I had up and running in minutes and I can now stream music and Netflix in my backyard. Awesome

This unit couldn't even detect the network I was trying to extend, even though every other device I own could get wifi signal. Not sure why Bestbuy sells this piece of garbage, but at least they gave me my money back without any hassle.

I bought this extender 2 weeks ago to try and get signal in my back yard. Mission accomplished. I had a bbq this past weekend and everyone was commenting that they couldn't get signal in their backyard and wanted to know my secret. I also picked up another extender for my parents house. Works great also. D-Link stuff works for me, so no turning back. Very please so far. Would definitely recommend!
