I was practically talked into getting this laptop instead of another computer by a salesman. After a few months I think I can describe this machine's drawbacks. I originally bought this to replace a slowly dying laptop, but I have found my dying laptop is both faster (despite a fairly close score on CPU benchmark) and lighter (it is 17.3" compared to this laptop's 15.6") than the Inspiron. The Inspiron is noticeably slower and is frustrating at times because of it. It also does not like to maximize videos to full screen and has a lingering taskbar which blocks some of the image. Most times when I try to correct this the internet browser I use just stops working. One of the most aggravating things for me is that this laptop does not have a CD drive, which means I cannot upload CDs or watch DVDs on it. I suppose the most this machine can do is download games via internet and play those but it is not worth much else.
