This laptop was a really good purchase. I'm a student and I found this computer to be really helpful with my assignments. It has a DVD player which is a great bonus! Loved this computer and it's design.

This was a great purchase, good for just surfing the web, listening to music with the DVD player, and i'm a student and I have to do a lot of assignments and i found this compute really helpful, good and friendly to all users.

Disappointed with purchase

Runs incredibly slow, freezes with one window open in my web browser, does not run close to how the specs suggest it should. The wifi adapter isn't working properly. I don't recommend purchasing this model.

not worth it

This is the 2nd dell and the last one. Told the sales rep what I would be using it for, he recommend this product. Find the system very slow. Take way too much time to even download different sites. Not using for games, just internet search and emails. It constantly shuts down to update, even in the middle of me working on other things.

not worth it

Purchased this product after talking with the sales person. He said it was good quality for every day use. Not using it for anything but internet searches and emails. Not the 1st Dell but it will be the last. Don't bother with this product. System is slow and worth the money

Trop lent

Pour rendre la vitesse de ce portable acceptable, j'ai dû le délester de McAfee et autres gadgets qui le ralentissent considérablement. Je suis déçue de sa performance. 2 etoiles

even the physical aspects are weirdly designed

yes after getting rid of the bloatware it doesn't live up to its RAM size for multitasking. but also the ENTER key is very small, as is the touch pad, these small design aspects all make this computer harder to get used to. overheating is a problem too. overall not terribly disappointed but definitely not impressed either. not a good deal for full price or sale price imo

Fine, nothing special

I bought this to replace my old HP laptop because Vista is no longer supported and my HP was having some issues. Surprised to find that this laptop isn't any faster than my old laptop. It has some quirks but overall haven't had any problems yet. Decided to try Dell instead of HP because of all the problems I had with my HP over the years and because of the great sale on Dell laptops. So far the most annoying is the sensitive trackpad and getting used to the new style of keyboard. Didn't like the default programs it came with so changed them to the classics that I had on the HP.

I purchased this computer to replace a 4 year old Gateway. This computer is so slow and freezes all the time while I am multi-tasking (playing videos, facebook, etc). My 4 year old Gateway is seriously faster and better than this laptop.

Slow and trackpad is glitchy

For a Dell using an Intel chip, I expected it to boot up faster. Maybe because I have it on the default settings for Windows 10. Keeps trying to sign me in to Microsoft accounts that I don't need. Also, the trackpad is useless and a mouse would work better with it. Dell should remove it altogether.

Poor Performance

Very disappointed in this laptop. It runs painfully slow even after I removed all the bloatware it came with and it's not 5G compatible. Definitely a letdown
