Good, inaccurate description.

Mostly happy with this unit that I bought for my son. I replaced both drives with a 512GB PCIe NVM drive and a 1TB SATA SSD rather than the 128GB PCIe and spinning 1TB drives included. I also added 8GB of RAM. My only complaint is that the description says it has 1 USB type C port on the front. It does not have any USB C ports, front or back.

Reliable, fast gaming PC.

For a gaming PC, this computer has basically everything covered. The case is very pleasing with satisfying blue LEDS to further enhance any blue and black themed setup. It can run almost all of the most recent and modern games out there, leading to comfortable hours of game-play. For triple-A games like Overwatch/Fortnite/etc, you will be able to play with no problem while easily obtaining above 75 FPS on MAX settings up to a resolution of 1920x1080. Any higher than that and performance may lower so I suggest sticking to this resolution. Upgradability is limited without acquiring a higher capacity power supply. The 8GB of RAM is sufficient, but for a more comfortable gaming experience, I recommend upgrading to 12-16 GB of RAM to last you for a good long while. If you want to upgrade the GTX 1060 to a higher end card, you will definitely need a better power supply as it is not efficient enough to handle any higher end card of the same series. My only complaint for this PC is the thermal performance. While playing a fast competitive triple-A game such as Overwatch, GPU thermals can quickly reach the default max of what the PC is set to: 83 degrees in C. While this may not be that big of an issue, I myself do not think this is a comfortable temperature as I worry it could degrade the life of the GPU. Cranking up the fan speed using third-party software can help keep the card cool. GPU fan is reasonably quiet, even when set to 100% though you will need headphones to completely ignore it. Overall, this computer is very great and I would definitely recommend it to family and peers who are just getting into PC gaming. Great work Dell and thanks to the amazing GeekSquad support!
