Best drone for the money! The updated app has excellent performance, making this a winning drone for flying for fun or professional cinematography. I absolutely can recommend this drone. I have a few in my collection. This one is the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say enough great things about the DJI Air 2s Combo. As a photographer and an owner of a previous DJI Mavic Pro, the Air 2s is awesome. The controller has a built-in grip for your cell phone to fit in, the cord is already in that area. So for me, that means I didn't have to attach another item to my controller to make my phone fit (Due to my case). It came with extra props, it came with three batteries, a battery charger that can charge the three batteries plus the controller. The controller battery has outlasted all three batteries. The batteries all lasted around 30 minutes or so for flight time, but switching them out was super easy. If you're not familiar with some of the drone capabilities, it's very easy to use all of them. One of my favorite things to do is the tracking feature, all you do is trace an outline on your phone around the person/ object you want to track, click which track you wish to use, and click go...All of this takes less than 15 seconds. The obstacle avoidance is great. Even while tracking, it seems to be working well. I had it tracking a subject when it was less than 10 feet off the ground (The drone was, the object was on the ground). I used the Cinema mode along with the "Pro" settings for the photographs attached. The photographs attached were not edited, these are straight from the drone. Also, the ND filters make things so much easier, they are very simple to put on and take off. Oh yeah, and one last thing, it comes with its bag to carry the ND filters, charger, controller, and Drone. It's a soft case shoulder carry, but still great. At this time, I have absolutely no complaints about this drone, I'm beyond impressed and ecstatic about using it.

  • Good drone, but it isn't a Mavic 2, Zoom, or 2 Pro
Verified BuyerReviewed by MIKE - 16 avril 2022

Sure, the Air2S is a decent drone, so I will indeed keep it. However: do NOT expect the knockout level of video quality you wanted. It's good- but is NOT as good as the Phantom Pro 4+ or the Mavic 2 Pro overall. Its just not. The Air2s' digital crop zoom is so noisy it is basically unusable, which is why the cheap controller was used. So the NIGHT video is best. If the Air2s had a remote aperature like it should, it would then be the drone most people think they are getting. I really wouldnt buy the Air2s again without the Pro color controller. So honestly, to me the Zoom is STILL the best overall "medium size" drone ever. In fact, I sold my Mavic 2 Zoom to buy an AIR2s, but then bought a used Mavic 2 Zoom to replace it...because it was just so good. It gets the shots that NO other drone can, every time. Thats a fact. Also, even a moderate wind eats the lightweight Air2s up, and makes smooth video flying tough....whereas the Mavic 2 isnt even phased by high wind. Again, its a real shame the Air2s' control unit is so wimpy. The Mavic 2's extra zoom wheel is simply irreplaceable. And the Air2s' battery life is better- but not shockingly so. Sadly, automated waypoint flying is gone in the Air2s. Its just not there, but was built in on the Mavic 2 series. Yes, shooting in 5k and 10 bit D-Log / HLG seems nice, but the reality is minimal. There are zoom restrictions in every mode it seems, like the Sony A6600 series. Last, the big 4k 60 tight crop just isn't cool. The Air2s' one inch sensor IS good at night, and is by FAR superior to the Mavic 2 Zoom and Mini 2s.* *NOTE: IF you plan to shoot mostly at night you should absolutely buy an Air2s or Mavic 3. The Mavic 2 Zoom, the Mini 2, and the Mini 2s simply do NOT shoot in low light well- the footage is unusable. You CAN however get usuable night footage from the Air2s if you need to. This is the Air2s' main advantage. Maybe its only one. Overall, for the average drone buff I would pass on the Air2s and get a nice Mavic 2 Zoom. They are really cheap right now ($<1000) and they fly like an M-1 tank. The Mavic 2 Zoom is by FAR the best professional drone for serious video pros for the money right now. Find a low hours Mavic 2 Zoom on FB marketplace, test it VERY well....and buy it! IF you want an Air2s, you'll have fun with it. Its VERY fast and sporty. And it's overall performance at night is awesome and the LED lights are far better. Now you know.

  • Flawless Drone!
    Reviewed by Serv - 27 avril 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still impressed with the capacity that this drone has, I must say from the beginning that this product really exceeds expectations and there is only one thing that in my opinion could be a con and that is that it’s not possible to change the aperture of the lens, it is fixed to f2.8 but in the use, it is not so missed. Having said the above, I will start with the unboxing that is simple and most of the things are already inside the little backpack that is included, a couple of boxes and some documentation, quite easy and fast. The More Fly Combo kit seems to me to be quite convenient since it gives you 2 extra batteries, filters, propellers etc, it is more than what you pay extra for the same kit. If you add to the above the exceptional quality of which the drone and its components are made, the portability, the battery life, the new OcuSync 3.0, and the accessories are really worth it. All this brings me to the point that in my opinion is one of the most important, the new 1-inch sensor which is definitely the one that makes it quite special and convenient. The 1-inch sensor, which by the way is twice the size of its predecessor, captures video in 1080p, 4k, 5.4k from a range of 30 - 60 fps, it will depend on the chosen configuration, since it has several modes of flight and recording that allows you to get very interesting shots and even slow motion at 120fps but only in 1080, as I mentioned earlier will depend on the chosen mode and the settings that one uses in pro mode. The pro mode allows you to modify the exposure time, iso, etc. Speaking of the performance at the time of flying the drone, I could see that from the moment of installing the app, updating, registering, and the first flight, everything is quite easy, the app is of great help since it is very accurate. Once registered and the firmware updated I could be ready to go flying the drone, following the corresponding guidelines of my city I was able to make the first flight successfully and get some very cool shots. The drone is not very noisy, I feel that it is the noise that one expects from a drone as compact but powerful as this one. The three modes (Tripo, Normal, Sport) work in a very fluid and precise way, of course, it will depend on the situation and what result you’re looking for, in combination with the Master Shots it can be equivalent to very good video and photographs. From the first moment the control is turned on and connected to the phone, the app guides you step by step in addition to the small tour that it gives you through the app options when the drone is on and ready to take off, it seems to me that it is very useful if it is the first times that a drone is flown, I think that by following all the steps, local regulations and with enough concentration and attention, anyone could fly a drone. I do not want to describe all the characteristics because that is what the product description is for so I will summarize that this drone is worth every penny, if you are a drone lover you will be more than happy and it will be one of your new favorites, and if you are thinking of buying one For recreational use and for the first time, I feel that if you can afford this Fly More Combo kit, you will end up very happy and satisfied. I can highly recommend this DJI Air 2S drone.

  • A great flying experience
    Reviewed by nickcal - 3 mai 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a fan of drones for a few years now. One of my first experiences with a pro-grade drone was the DJI Phantom 4. That was an incredible flying experience, but it was also a very large drone. The intelligence built into that machine was phenomenal and I was in awe of how easy it was to use. Fast-forward a few years and we have an entire slew of compact drones that are faster and much easier to pack around. The latest in that lineup is the DJI Air 2S, which was just introduced within the past month. Getting started with the tiny drone is very easy. There are several sets of blades included in the fly more kit and you have to match them up with the right rotors. They are color-coded and labeled so that you don’t get them mixed up. Once the blades are popped into place on the rotors (twist and lock mechanism), you slap in one of the batteries and you are ready to go. I am a huge fan of the drone’s remote. This is a part of the package that I didn’t like with my Mavic Air Pro. They have always just seemed kind of clunky and hard to handle with a phone attached. Fortunately, DJI redesigned the controller so that it fits really well in the hands and the phone is very easy to attach. I’m a photographer by trade and I was drawn to the fact that this drone has a 1-inch CMOS sensor (the smallest drone in this class) and that it will capture still photos as RAW files. The camera on the Air 2S is so advanced that it captures high dynamic range and provides semi-professional image quality - even in lowlight situations. I was also amazed at the video capture capabilities of the Air 2S (5.4K/30fps and 4K/60fps) and the fact that the drone has an optimized video transmission system that supports longer distances. So, to test this remarkable little drone, I ventured out to a nearby wetland area to capture some overhead shots of the area. I was very grateful to have its four-directional obstacle avoidance feature as I was flying in an area that has a lot of trees and a lot of winged animals. The avoidance sensors did a really great job of keeping the drone out of harm’s way. I flew the drone for approximately 20 minutes over the area and was able to capture a bald eagle nest. I kept the drone at a safe distance from the nesting area but was still able to get photos of the adult eagles and their nest. The photos of the nest itself were much clearer and crisper than the ones of the eagle in flight. I suppose that was because it was stationary rather than capturing a moving object (the adult eagles were flying around). Along those lines, DJI has also included a function that makes it possible to track a subject while you are recording video. This means the drone will control the camera movements while you control the drone’s flight. It’s a great feature that makes it possible to get more dramatic shots since you don't have to concentrate on controlling the camera and the drone at the same time. Flying a drone can be overwhelming to some people, but DJI makes it easy with the Air 2S. It has a lot of advanced features that take content creation with a drone to new heights. I was very excited with the footage and still shots I captured with the Air 2S and I’m looking forward to doing a lot more exploring in the near future. My nervousness about losing a drone due to collision has been assuaged thanks to the upgraded sensors on this amazing device.
