Overpriced Toy

This particular model will not sync to an app, if that is important to you. The fan is not that powerful even @ max, which is fairly loud. Save your money!!

A scam from Dyson

Unit bought a bit more than a year ago. It works...But you cannot find any replacement filters anywhere (can you even imagine what it will be a few years down the road??). Read other reviews. BestBuy, for one, should stop selling a unit when they themselves cannot get any replacement parts such as filters. Dyson Canada just says "out of stock, leave a message" (and then will supposedly let you know when it is available, for an outrageous price). Must admit we did not see it coming from Dyson. Selling an expensive unit and then making it obsolete immediately by NOT making filters available is an indecent scam tactic, basic fraud. We are looking into buying another air filter, from a more honest company. Would give ZERO star if it was possible. STAY AWAY.

Peace of mind

Bought the unit on sale and I really like it. I get some comfort from knowing my air quality is being monitored and I can see the results on my phone. I've placed the unit in my hallway between the bedrooms and I seem to sleep better. Waiting for the summer months to see how well the cooling works. I'm hoping the fan will reduce the temperature change as you move up to the top floor. It doesn't take up a lot of space and it's very quiet. I will be watching for another sale on these for another unit in the basement.

Unavailable over-priced filters.

It’s like buying an expensive car with no gas available. Therefore Mr. Dyson...you suck big time.

No filters avail for months

Ive been trying to get a filter for like 4 months now. They are consistently not available on the Dyson website. Be aware when purchasing for long term use. Great machine tho. 5 stars 1 star for lack of filters. no middle ground.

No replacement filters available for months

I have waited 4-6 months for the filters to become "available" to purchase on the DYSON WEBSITE... my purifier cool link has shown the filter change symbol for a little more then 2 months now. I signed up for email notification when filters become available and everything. The ability to buy a new filter has been terrible. I tried way before I needed one so I would have one... with no luck... I thought Dyson would be reliable with filters and maybe a couple months was reasonable to wait... When I called about it .. I got told that because its a new produce 3 months or so in Canada the filters haven't been made yet and in 6 months there should be more filters... I said I bought it last year more then 6 months ago and I have the receipt.. The rep on the line said "well that's just what they told me" When I asked to be transferred to someone else. He said he was waiting for email confirming I could replace the entire unit by sending MINE first in. (YAY) tells me how and then tells me he "assumes that its a go but if otherwise you will get a call" (you tell me what that sounds like) So they can send me a different machine but not the light filter inside of it... (Interesting) Great quick fix. but for almost 3 weeks pay ... extremely disappointed that there has been no filters available with no knowledge of when they aprox will be, after all these months of nothing. That's my experience. Ultimately its a great machine...5 stars 1 star because of the filter and my Dyson customer service experience so far

love the auto function

My favourite thing about this unit is that it senses the amount of stuff in the air and adjusts its working speed based on that. I live in a 2 bedroom appartment and as soon as I start cooking something it picks up the speed. Def recommend

Dye on pur cool link

Since this is a new purchase, I cannot make a inform review. For now I shall give you my opinion as I find that it is a trial and error each day to find what Is best for me.. In a month's time I shall be better equipped to make a better review.

Good but not excellent

I ought this to overcome very fine dust in my home but I am very unhappy with Dyson on how it behaves with fine dust. It doesn't turn on automatically to remove the fine dust though it works fine if there is any smell or smoke. I was expecting dyson to capture each and every single dust particle in air but it didn't.
