Pros. Powerful, lightweight, easy to clean and great powered beater bar. Cons. The beater is small, as well as the dust bin, battery life is terrible and charging time is too long. I have wall to wall carpets and purchased this to get the spots a robot vacuum misses. Vacuumed one set of stairs after a full charge with beater attachment and set to max power. Lasted about ten minutes. Took three hours to charge back up. I was not impressed. It did do a great job on the stairs. It needs to have a quick change battery. I decided it was not worth the $349.99 sale price and returned it.

This is my first dyson - am thrilled with this purchase. We use it daily as a replacement for a broom in our kitchen and on hardwoods. Suction is great and it is so much handier than a broom and dustpan. Have also used it on the entryway mats - much more convenient than pulling out the big central vac hose. Prior to purchasing I saw complaints about the short runtime - but if you think of this as replacing a broom and not a central vac replacement, you’ll likely be pleased.

Very convenient in charging and won’t take too much space . Nice after sale service to help me solve many questions in use. Except the battery capacity is not so big only good for 10 more minutes in use of Max mode. Battery died very quick. If Dyson can provide a spare battery for rotation use, that will be an excellent solution.

We got this vacuum as a family gift and it was the best purchase. We have a house full of cats and dogs and the floors where always full of fur. It was so difficult to sweep the house and keep the fur and dust in one pile while you cleaned the floors or the house. This vacuum would clean as you go! No fumbling with cords or dust piles! It would grab everything. Because it’s so lightweight and easy to use, everyone in the house is always using it. The floors are always clean. The battery life may be short if you are cleaning the entire house. But we just clean in stages now. I prefer this vacuum over a central vacuum. I love this so much!!!
