ALL plastics pats had cracks from the plastic extrusion process. According to Dyson this is a common problem. They were reluctant to do anything and hinted strongly I should live with it. Persistence paid off and it was replaced. Vacuum itself is a little weak and definitely not worth the price.

I love this vacuum as it is situated in our kitchen and is used everyday for light cleanup. We have another one upstairs with all the attachments and is more powerful for general use. I love the product...heaters and fans, too.

all you need to keep the floors of your average sized home clean. Super easy to maneuver around, does a good / excellent job of picking up typical dust and dirt around the home. The accessories make it easy to reach up to corners of ceilings and walls and being lightweight it’s a breeze to use anywhere in the home. Battery power appears to be well managed as well as I’ve used the V7 for 30 minute nonstop sessions. I don’t have any pets so can’t comment on pet hair but I’m so happy to no longer lug around and trip over the central vac.

It has powerful suction, it's battery work for 20 minutes, that is enough time to do a quick cleanup in a car or at home for the kitchen and two-room. easy to use and clean. I really like it.

As in the title. Don't use this as a main vaccum IMO. You will use up the lifespan of the product too quickly. But it is VERY good otherwise.

  • Well...it certainly does suck!

Not sure what all the fuss is about with Dyson. We purchased the cordless vacuum stick. Within the 3 months the vacuum head broke. Dyson did send a replacement free of charge, but alot of hoops to jump through. Pretty dissapointing little vacuum, would not purchase again. Battery life was about 20 minutes the 1st year, now maybe 5 minutes. Clogs up,poor suction. We have hardwood and slate floors and it just doesn't pick up debris, particularly in the corners. Don't waste your money, stick with a good canister vacuum or central vac.

  • Love it!

My Mom and I both love this Dyson!! It’s lightweight and easy to use and emptying is a breeze! We can’t believe how much it picked up the first time we used it...and how much our old vacuum missed!! Thank you Dyson!! Makes my job a whole lot easier when I don’t have to worry about a cord or dragging our old vacuum behind me!! It’s just lovely to use!!

Works the way it's advertised. Battery lasts long enough for us to clean our whole house,be it our house isn't large. Transitions between our hardwood and carpet flawlessly the max setting picks up everything off our carpets amazingly.
