Epson DURABrite Ultra T220 Black Ink (T220520-S)

After spending 2 years purchasing HP ink, and my printer finally crapping out, I had to get a new printer. I chose an Epson because for one thing, the ink cartridges cost half as much as HP does. Talk about savings right there. I like that you can buy all 3 colors needed for color printing in one box. And saving you a few dollars along the way. Easily marked with specific color, this ink set is well worth the price and value when you need an inkjet printer. Depending on the project I am working on, the ink does last for a long time. If you are in the market and need a good printer, go with Epson, just for the price of the ink, it is well worth it.

Didn’t work for me. Not sure if i got the wrong cartridges but no one was around to help me and tell me otherwise. I googled it and this is what came up. But the black cartridges seemed like it was empty because it wasn’t printing anything. But waste of money because i doubt they’re going to exchange them for me. The black cartridge showed up at half as soon as i put it in the machine. Photo will display date and time of use.

The printing quality is excellent. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that the Magenta ink cartridge depletes so much quicker than the other 2 colors (cyan/yellow) and black. Unfortunately I now have a collection of cyan/yellow cartridges building up because of getting multiple refill packs that also contain the 2 other colors along with magenta and don't come available in any other individual packaging scheme. Black can be purchased separately or in a complete 4 pack group. Need an option to get an individual color or a super sized plus version of magenta.

This is the first time I purchased the color toner for my Epson printer. The original one last for a while. When I replaced them, I did not replace all at the same time. The last color I only replaced a couple weeks ago. When I replaced the last color, the first color was almost empty. I am a light user of the printer. The color toner does not last long, unfortunately. But, I can replace color individually, as the package contains separate cartridges for different color. I probably will continue to buy this product, hopefully, cartridges will balance out in a cycle or two.

I have to purchase the black and colours apparently and install at the same time,even if the colours are not completely finished. I don't find the black 220 as dark as I'd like it and was going to try the higher end ink but Best Buy didn't have either one in stock. I purchased the printer in May 2016 and the sample they gave me was darker than any time I have purchased the ink, and this time I had someone else install it in case I was doing something wrong, and it came out the same. For the prices I have to pay for the inks I think I could be happier with the print job.
