- Comfortable- November 14, 2019
I’ve only worn this a few times but so far I’m enjoying it. I didn’t want a normal carrier with thick fabric but also didn’t want a wrap because I didn’t want to have to wrap it every single time I wore it. I’m still getting the hang of it but it can be quick to put on and I love the somewhat stretchy material. The reason for 4 stars is because the instructions say not twist anything, but how the straps came you have to twist them to fit them into the buckles (so it was put on backwards). If it was just one I would flip it but all 3 buckles came the opposite so you can’t buckle without twisting the straps. Other than that I love it so far.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Very Cozy Baby Carrier- November 6, 2019
I tried a traditional newborn baby wrap and it was not the most convenient option. I could never wrap it securely fast enough for my crying baby and I always had to hold his head which did not allow me to have use of two hands which is the purpose of a baby carrier. I've recently purchased the embrace newborn carrier and I am very happy with it so far. My 11 week old is very cozy and eventually falls asleep and I am getting more things done around the house. I still have to hold his head on occasion but it is much more secure and comfortable than the wrap I was previously using. I would recommend parents of newborns/infants give this carrier a try.
- Soft but too stretchy- May 4, 2020
My baby was born premature and I wanted a carrier I use use with him ASAP after he got out of the hospital. This seemed like the best option as it is advertised as a newborn specific carrier. It was nice when he weighed under 10 pounds, but since then the fabric for the shoulder straps is much too stretchy to keep him raised up on my chest. There is also no head support from the carrier past that initial weight and he still needs it so I have to hold his head a lot kind of defeating the purpose of carrying him. If they improved the shoulder straps and made them less stretchy this carrier would be amazing!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
