Very pleased with the quality, construction and function. Shipping was fast. Assembly takes 30 minutes, wrenches and grease are included, as are batteries for the 'computer'. I tried out a relative's much more expensive elliptical and found the stride length too long (I'm 77!). The stride is just over 12 inches, so your hips don't get stretched as much, and knee bends are gentler. Handles are tall and well placed, and also double as levers when tilting the whole machine forward to engage the front wheels for storage. Doesn't fold flat, but stabilizer bars are not overly wide, so unit doesn't take a lot of room. Also has adjustable feet in the middle of the base so is very stable. Tension adjustment is very simple and effective. This unit was slightly stiffer than the expensive one above, but I found it too free-wheeling. Only criticism would be the foot rests - during operation, they tilt forward, so shoes must be worn, which bump into the front of the rests - not really a problem, unless you need barefoot.

  • Great workout, but quite challenging.

Overall I'm very pleased. However, be advised this machine is quite challenging. I've set the elliptical to minimum tension, but even at this setting there is very good resistance.
