Fellowes Powershred 73Ci 12-Sheet Cross-Cut Paper Shredder (4601002)

This shredder seemed to meet my needs - not heavy duty just the ability to shred personal documents at home. From the get go it would shred for 2 seconds and then the yellow safe shred light would go on and it would shut down and then generally not restart for up to half a minute (maximum sheets being shred equivalent to six sheets of paper - most of what was being shred was credit card and banking receipts.) This may be just a one off faulty machine but I wouldn't take that risk; the time to clean it up and repack it to return to the store is just another needless and time consuming annoyance!) I will say that phoning into the help line was very quick and the customer service representative (Chantal) was very pleasant and helpful.

I have had a few shredders, you know you start with a small cheaper one and then you graduate to better ones. Well this is a better one. Quieter, smarter, when you add more sheets it speeds up so nothing get's stuck, bigger, it has bags so it is easier to carry for recycling. I love it. Especially when you have to shred a lot of paper.

The 73ci is all that is needed for personal or small office use. Very quiet easily shreds paper, credit cards and CD/DVD 's.. So far it has met all my expectations. Best Buy also price matched the article and had it shipped in in less than a week. I am very satisfied with there service.
