Awesome!

I have owned the versa for about 6 months, and it hasn't been off my wrist (besides charging..) throughout the whole duration of ownership! It is awesome, with great battery life. I use it at the gym, and fitbits smart tracking system is great! It isn't an apple watch, but for the price, it's hard to justify an apple watch if you're using it for fitness.

Excellent

My wife gave me this for Christmas and I have not taken it off my wrist except for showering. It synced to my iPhone SE immediately. To load music you will need to purchase an account however I use my iPhone so I really don't care about the music part. The battery stays charged for a long and will depend on how many options you have running. All-in-all, it is great. I have other, more expensive, analog watches but this is very light and much more fun!

lasted 6 months only

Seemed okay, then few weeks ago, screen went black. Did soft reset and screen came on again. Then over Christmas, did a few laps in hotel swimming pool (first time used for swimming) Again screen turned off and couldn't get it started again. Have 3 year Best Buy warranty and am returning watch. Waiting for refund. Don't know if Fitbit would have honored their own warranty or not. However I am out the money paid for the 3 year extended warranty for a product which stopped working in 6 months. And do I want to take a chance on another Versa and have same thing happen??? I ordered the Charge 3, but am wondering if this is something that happens to Fitbits...as other reviewers have said. I researched ways to get Versa, working again. Read all the Versa posts, I could. Even tried another charger.

Beware that you may have problems with the app!

I received this as a gift and spent the whole morning trying to get the Windows 10 app downloaded from Microsoft. It would not download and customer service could not help. I also wasted time calling the Microsoft Store customer service since that is the only place to get the computer app. To use Versa you MUST HAVE Windows 10; it will not work with Windows 7. If you have removed all the telemetry, i.e. spyware, that Microsoft put into 10, you probably will not be able to download the app. And the app is absolutely essential to be able to use the watch and it MUST be installed on whatever device you will use to relay [sync] your data with your FitBit account. Without that device, no syncing. BTW before buying, read the FitBit forums to get a sense of the number of people who are having issues with both the app and the watch. It is back in the box and being returned. Nice design though.

NOT waterproof

I have one of the worst experience with this product, as well as Geek Squad (bought extra 3-year warranty for this product). 1. Bought the watch in April for my dad in Malaysia 2. My dad wore the watch when he was swimming in August. Battery died ever since (literally after 4 months of purchase!) 3. Called bestbuy and see if this can be sent from Malaysia, they said no 4. I had the product returned to Toronto, called Geek Squad in late August, they said IT CANNOT BE SENT BY EMAIL 5. Been waiting for the return label for 3 months by mail, nothing was received. Called again and they said IT CAN BE SENT BY EMAIL 6. I followed the instruction provided by Best Buy, to place a returning shipment. I was required to pay for the shipment. I called Geek Squad and THEY HAVE NO IDEA what I am talking about. They sent me to Customer services 3 TIMES and nobody ever gave me an answer I do not have to go through all these, if the fitbit versa is good. Nothing else I can say about this product.

Won't work with Nexus 6P phone

Bought this watch with the expectation that it would work perfectly with my Nexus 6P phone, just like my Garmin Vivosmart did for years. I was wrong. This watch will NOT stay connected to my phone for more than a day. When it disconnects itself I need to restart my phone to get it to sync again. Fitbit knows about this issue and "is working on it". I had to write a letter to corporate to finally get them to refund me for the watch since it didn't work as advertised and it was past the store return period. Not impressed!

Think 1000 times before buying this ridiculous watch

I just bought it a day ago. Immediately after I set it up (was not even wearing it) I had walked 1560 steps apparently. Then it showed the calories burned as 1077 after 5 minutes of wearing it while at rest. I tried to reset it according to the instructions on Fitbit website and still saw no result. Then I factory reset about 4 times. 2 of the 4 times it still overcounted steps like over 2000. Then 3rd time I had apparently run 3 miles in 2 seconds and the 4th time it showed I had burned 1256 calories at rest. Not to mention it has syncing issues along with over-counting. If you have an android good luck getting it to connect to the app and syncing with it. Although it tells you that it had synced 2 mins ago, the data it shows on the app and on the watch is completely different. I suggest you really scour the Fitbit community boards and look at all the issues people are complaining of, before buying it. It's a waste of money and I am going to be returning it

Horrible Battery Life!!!

Was truly looking forward to this device and bought one the day after the model was released. Followed all the factory recommended settings. When I started using it, I only got just over 2 days battery life using minimal features and not even using the mp3 feature. I dismissed it at first thinking I was doing something wrong. Within a couple of weeks battery was only lasting 1 day, and almost a month later battery life down to 12 hrs. Called Fitbit warranty and they confirmed I only had minimal features being used and battery life was off. They had me do a factory reset and then call them back after a few days to follow up. Battery was still only lasting 12 hrs and then they told me they would send a replacement but they are an back order and can't give me an ETA. at this point I am disappointed and want my money back and BestBuy will not refund it as it is just over 30 days. Now stuck waiting for a replacement with no ETA and I simply don't want in light of this overall BAD experience!

Fitbit doesn’t stand behind their product.

So... I bought a fitbit versa from bestbuy. The net is.. it lasted about 2 weeks before the face cracked. And keep in mind, I am not trying to summit Everest, trekking across the arctic circle, or deep sea diving off the whitsundsays. These days, I walk my dog and maybe run to fridge and back. So no banging, just regular use. I hadn’t even worn it in the shower! And it lasted 2 weeks. Then I noticed a big crack. When I asked for support from Fitbit, they said, they were sorry... Not so great walking into a meeting... with a broken watch. Buyer beware

Love it!

I got the watch for my birthday and have been obsessed with it ever since. It tracks everything and has motivated me to stay active throughout the day so that i can reach my daily goals as much a possible. Il looks great on my wrist. Not too bulky. Pretty confortable. Easy to navigate and use. Good quality graphics and tons of diffirent configurations you can put on it. I receive all my notifications on it (texts et emails) and can also have the weather and other cool apps. You can order other bracelets if you want to change it up a bit. Overall a very good smartwatch.

Returned it

Not impressed sure its flashy and big but it was hot and uncomfortable the screen doesn't stay in the center or your wrist and it was hard to navigate so I returned my husbands and mine and we decided on the charge2. Very disappointed. Probably really easy to scratch as well.

not released yet in Canada but looks much better than the Blaze battery life is 4 days on average not 4 hours
