I purchased my versa in July 2018 from Fitbit directly. It was great, no issues with the battery or the userability of it, I have been a Fitbit customer for years. Fast forward to the beginning of September 2019 and my battery dies in less than 12 hours. I cannot use any of the functions it is meant to be used for, such as running, alarms, exercise apps or anything else. It is basically a watch. Customer service at Fitbit offered me a discount to buy their new model... I am buying a Garmin.

I love the Fitbit Versa.... does everything I need it to, it's lightweight and comfortable to wear and sync's easily with my Samsung 8. Have had no problems with this watch, and would recommend it to anyone.

Starting with the positive, it is a nice light watch and it looks nice. However, the NFC feature is useless as there are only 3 credit unions/banks in Canada that support Fitbit pay, RBC being the only bit bank. You can see a portion of the text messages and can reply with emojis but you can't see the complete message. You can't make any changes on the watch everything has to go through the phone app. It is more of just an activity tracker only, very few apps and most of them are from random people that have created them. Not sure how secure that is. Just very annoyed.

I love the look of it, the fact that it can monitor your heart rate and has cool apps and faces...but I had the Fitbit ONE and it was dead accurate with steps as I tested it on a treadmill....it didn't record odd movements, (like wrist/arm movement) but there are some fixes to record less arm moving by wearing it on your non dominant hand, but saying its on your dominant hand in settings. Also, for me, it loses pairing with phone a few times a day. Bottom line, personally, with the faces, the apps and heart rate I will keep it. I just wish the ONE would come back, as it was perfection for recording steps!
