So I bought the S42 watch and it was ok to say the least, the features I bought it for required extra stuff but the biggest complaint is the fact that Garmin WON'T FIX THE PERMISSION ISSUES, it goes off non stop with the permissions (calendar) and I tried it with permission and disabled it and no fix... returned it for the Samsung golf watch, MUCH HAPPIER, do your own due diligence but at this time make sure you buy it and use it within your return policy

I got my 42S a few weeks ago and am really enjoying using. I wear it as my everyday watch. I like I am able to track my daily steps. Most important is the golf features. My old watch was a Skycaddie and this is so much better than it was. I can track my hitting distances and easily find lay up distances. It has a fantastic battery life; I can play 3 rounds of golf before needing to charge it. It has lived up to what I read about it before purchasing it.

It was way too complicated. I just wanted a one, two three gadget. Instead, it skipped around so much more than I wanted. I returned it. End of story!

I bought this watch for use on the golf course but I found it did many of the things I wanted my smart watch to do. Besides accurate yardage on the golf course, it notifies me of email, texts and slack notifications. I just wear this watch all day, on the course and off. It's battery life is amazing. It can go a couple of days without needing a charge. Love this watch.

Purchased as a replacement for my old vivo active 3, which was a good all around watch but wanted something more geared for golf. Just had it out on the course and it gave accurate yardage, stat tracking and very visually clear with color screen. Impressed with battery life and it’s been great so far. Would highly recommend.
