So far I love this watch. I purchased the Fenix 6 at the end of December thinking that the Fenix 7 wasn't coming out until late 2022. Once hearing that the 7 was coming out in a few weeks I returned the 6 and ordered the 7. I have not been disappointed! I workout 6 days a week and track them, I've been paying attention to my body battery and resting when needed and sometimes going to bed earlier than I normally do. The sleep tracking has me being more conscience about what I do before going to bed so that I can optimize my sleep. The battery life is next level, a single change has lasted me 2 weeks with tracking 12 workouts in that time. Thank you for a great product, I look forward to learning more about this device. Oh, my wife also got the Venu SQ music edition.

I bought this a few weeks ago to update my well worn Fenix 5+. It's a solid upgrade in every way. Battery life is excellent, screen is easy to read especially in the sun, GPS is accurate. The fact that the pins for straps are non removable is not ideal. The other thing that prevents this from being perfect and worth 5 stars is the UI. Most of the screens have a black background which is unable to switch to white. This probably looks great on the Epix 2, but makes the Fenix screen less readable. The MIP display is easiest to read when it has dark text and a light background. If the background could be switched to white the screen would be much more readable.

I want a watch to track my workouts - period. I don't need or use things like the music or the other "smart watch" features. I was severely disappointed when it wouldn't track my swim laps. After multiple calls to Garmin support, I was finally told how to do a "hard re-boot" to enable the swim features again - until it gets confused again. Hopefully they fix this software "glitch" soon and have an updated version available. I like the improved HR tracking and solar battery life between charging sessions. When they fix the motion sensing software - I'll happily give this watch a B+ to A- (I still think all the extra features are a waste - at least for me). Thnx ~ R

Great evolution. Had the Fenix 5s, 6 Pro Solar, and now 7 Sapphire Solar. There are many great improvements with the 7, but the MOST IMPORTANT improvement is the GPS tracking. The "All + Multi-Band" option makes a HUGE difference. I used to have to use Strava "Correct Distance" to get close to the real GPS distance. With this watch it is spot on always - even in the woods or around buildings. While it is nice to know your exact distance at the end, the real benefit is that your pacing is much more useful. You can trust the watch on current pace even when in the woods. Huge improvement! Used it with Pace-Pro to pace my last half marathon and it was flawless.
