- Terrible Washer- January 19, 2020
I bought this machine 6 months ago. Repairman came out to replace shocks in washer in October. In January washing machine made very loud shaking noise heard it from upstairs went down to laundyroom to find washer turned right around as it shook so hard. The force of the washing machine shaking caused a big dent in front of washer and a dent and the side. It also made two small dent on my dryer which was right beside it. Washer has plastic fragments inside and quater full of water and will not work. I bought matching washer and dryer together. Waiting for repairman to come and see what can be done. Now without a washer. Very Annoying! No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
- stay clear of this product and all GE products- July 21, 2020
I have owned this product for 3 years and has broken three times since. It is now fully not functional as the motor or digital panel went nuts at midnight while I was asleep. When I called GE as they offer a 10 year guarantee on the motor, the agent advised that I would have to pay the repair man to come to my place, access the damage on my dime. If it was the motor, then they would ship the parts and again have to pay the repair man to fix it, on my dime. No thanks... never purchasing a GE again and would rather buy a brand new one with the cost of the repairsNo, I would not recommend this to a friend.

- Incapable of Balancing Load during Spin Cycle- February 8, 2019
As our washer and dryer are housed in a 2nd floor laundry closet, we had few options in choosing a new washing machine which had the dimensions to fit into the alcove. Hence, we bought this washing machine 6 months ago. I am very disappointed in our purchase. In the spin cycle, our machine is unable to balance a load of laundry on its own. I must stop the cycle each and every time (sometimes twice) to re-balance the load. In addition, our machine vibrates so strongly during the wash cycle that I fear it will plunge through the floor. I must ‘babysit’ this machine once it enters the spin cycle which is not only annoying but stressful. I do not recommend buying this machine. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
