  • Great features but panel design needs work

Done a lot of research before buying and features are as advertised but I am all the time turning the oven off or pressing a bunch of commands whenever I need to use the back burners or to clean the cooktop, because of the angle of the control panel. I recommended the range to a friend, who bought one and is having the same issue with the controls. So unless you can remain some inched away from the front of the stove when cooking or cleaning, assuming your arms are long enough to reach the back then, you'll be ok but otherwise not so much. I also find the cooktop super difficult to clean. This is my 3rd cooktop like this and the first one that takes way too much efforts to keep in decent shape. The cerama cleaner does not help, and no other products I tried either yet. There are whiter lines inside the circles that will not go away no matter what, and shadows of stains remain even after all is cleaned. It should not be such a struggle to keep a cooktop clean.

  • Disappointing After sales Service

from Montreal, QC on April 28, 2019

After eating out and doing takeouts for a week, we finally received our range and through no fault of Best Buy it arrived damaged thus we refused it. We need to wait another week to receive another one which is unacceptable. Hopefully it won't arrive damaged. I guess that's the risk a business takes when outsourcing. I will be updating my review once we use our GE Profile 30"

  • Great Slide in, just quality issues!

After a LOT of research, we decided to buy this unit about a month ago. It is really the only range with true self cleaning still (do your research folks), yet also offers the lighter steam clean, true convection (many have), fast boil, fast heating times for oven, a solid lower drawer with a handle (unlike many others), lower drawer is a full bake to 450 for pizza, cookies, muffins, etc. (extra bonus), and coated shelves (rare). I think the best slide in on the market for features that is priced reasonably. Now the bad. Very excited after ordering, got the first one delivered in about 8 days (quite fast and good delivery. Levelled it, plugged it in, stove worked great; turned on oven for 350F and after about 2 minutes a loud pop, entire control board dead. Reset breaker, still dead. A short life. Stove worked but clock, timer, and entire oven display black and dead. Ordered replacement and it came even faster in 7 days. Same routine, stove worked great, turn oven on and once reached about 250F a very loud cooling fan (do the research - on all slides and runs once gets hot constant while baking, through cool down about 20-30 mins). Recorded noise,, played to salesman, and were told excessively loud and not normal. Order third one, arrived, still loud (nosier than dishwasher and can hear in next room 30 feet away). Guess just a noisy fan. Conceded and ordered a different oven. Great features, questionably poor quality and noise levels.
