Setup was easy and casting videos and musics with no lag. Happy with the purchase.

I got best price and saw best customer service by heartland. The actual price was $49 and discounted price was $35 which they forgot to remove but she gave me in only $25 because they forgot to remove the Old discounted price from the shelf.

Had Chromecast gen 1. Google moved on from that model and quit updating it, which was causing video playback to lag. Bought Chromecast gen 3 to replace it. no issues with lagging video since. Works perfectly!

With this version you cant cast h265 files from the computer to the TV. If you use Chrome you can get more of it but, if you use Firefox (as me) there arent so many resources.

I bought 3 of these for my TVs in my house and they all work great and if you have google mini which is what I have you can ask it to turn the volume Down, next episode or simply change to a different show/movie super convenient if you do not wish to use a controller or just wish to use your voice.

I've used a chromecast for 2 years,mostly for streaming NFL from DAZN. It works incredibly well. So well that my sister "borrowed" my second one to take on a trip and I never got it back:) its very simple and easy to use.

One of the main advertised features is screen mirroring from a laptop. There is about a half second of input delay though,and mouse motion is terrible. Totally un-useable for screen mirroring.

Google doesn't offer any support for their product. So many users out there with the same issues and it's the same troubleshoot. Restart your router. Updated your router firmware. Factory reset your chromecast and setup again. So many posts of users looking for the next step. What help do they get? See above. Junk.
