- Never buying open box again- April 27, 2021
Best Buy didn’t have any new packages even though I ordered a new one, needless to say they told me it was 100% in perfect condition, well it was missing the back piece needed for underwater, so my exuma keys footage was ruined. Extremely disappointed as I opened it all up while I was on my trip not realizing there was a missing piece. 2 of my family members have this model as well, and they preferred without the case, so not needed unless you are going in deep waters or for protection as the case does make using the GoPro harderNo, I would not recommend this to a friend.
- GoPro case that goes beyond!- January 17, 2021
This case fits and protects the GoPro camera very satisfactorily. The case comes with good instructions and multiple options for the use of the rear touch screen while keeping good Protection of the camera for physics encounters and when used under the water. The instructions for assembly were good but could be better to explain how it Inter haces with other holding mechanisms for mounting. Price is very fair but it sits at around 1/8 of the cost of the camera, kind of high.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great case, easy to use.- September 11, 2021
Works great, easy to use, no need to take your lens off. Older Hero 7 underwater cases required that you twist off your lens. While providing marginally better quality (less glass between sensor and object), they also made your gopro non-waterproof and were a pain to use. These newer cases don't require you to twist off your lens anymore, so even if your case floods you should be fine. It's simplistic and I couldn't see the impact of extra glass in my images.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
