Graco DuetConnect LX 2-in-1 Portable Swing & Bouncer - Asteroid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this swing off my registry at my baby shower. There were mixed reviews so I was kinda nervous about it. Overall its been awesome and my son loves it. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating was the assembly and that the seat vibrator is really loud. We had to tape the battery cover down tighter to try to help with the extra sound. Some of the assembly was more complicated than expected. But its also my first swing I've assembled myself. I love that its a swing and bouncer in one. Being able to disconnect the bouncer to take to another room is very helpful and my favorite feature about it. Overall I'm satisfied with the product.

Cute swing, like that it can turn to swing facing different ways. That’s the only reason I didn’t give one star. I’m so disappointed I have a colicky baby who loved this swing one of the few things to calm him and yesterday it stopped swinging. It makes a weird mechanical noise and doesn't swing anymore. My baby was born January 18 and it’s now March 25 so just over 2 months it lasted. i don’t want to have to go purchase another swing nor can I at the moment because of all of the Covid-19 stuff going on. Waiting for something to ship is going to be torture because like I said my baby has colic and this swing WAS my saving grace.

We got this swing as a shower gift for our first daughter. It is only a year and a half old, minimally used (our first daughter didn’t love it). We started to use it for our second daughter. Have used it minimally for 2 months and it just stopped working. Tried plugging it in, new batteries, everything. We have another type of swing from Graco and tried to use it. We opened it two weeks ago and it did the same thing. Not at all happy.. we count on these products to soothe our babies. Clearly we shouldn’t.

This is our second swing but having the same issue. The first one was gifted to us as a hand me down so we just figured it was because of age. After that one died I went and bought a brand new swing. It worked great....for a month. Now it has a terrible squeak to it that is super annoying. This is exactly what the other one did before it died so it wouldnt surprise me if this one dies too. For as much as this swing costs I was expecting it to last longer than a month without having issues. Our boy loves to swing but I dont feel we use it excessively (about 2 hours per day). I'm very disappointed in the quality.

if i could give this 0 stars i would. it completely stopped working, it will not swing back and forth by itself, it won’t vibrate and it won’t even at least play the music. when the vibrations did work, it was super loud, i had to stuff a small towel under the batteries to try and quiet it. my baby loved it at first, she’s only one month old and i bought it brand new. so that shows how long this lasted.. wouldn’t recommend.
