    As noted by others, the coffee should be hotter, thermal carafe good idea, after an hour the coffee is just warm, disappointing feature, should do a recall on those within the 5 yr, guarantee and issue a new updated one.

    6 months old and has already died. Do not waist your money. When coffee brews it is not very hot. Sometime your coffee is warm sometimes its hot. but does not make a truly hot pot of coffee. Not very happy. Would not recommend it

    Previously owned a Melitta model having the exact same outer shell, display and controls that made the best coffee, however, this Hamilton Beach version clearly falls short both for not hot enough brewing temperature and inadequate warmer plate with and auto shut off function occurring much too soon. Very disappointed. Purchased it yesterday, used it once but, I,m taking it back today.
