    Bought this to replace one that died just when we really needed it the most. So far it is working like a charm! Cools a hot room quickly and keeps it cool all night. My only beef would be that the remote doesn't work well. You literally have to be 2 feet in front of the air conditioner for the remote to work. Other than that, the install was easy and I was pleased to see that I didn't have to cut the window part to fit our tiny window. Very happy so far.

    My daughter's bedroom faces east and during the day it was like oven due to the sun. I had tried many other measures to make it cool and comfortable but had no avail. This wonderful portable AC helps solving this problem and now my daughter can relax and sleep comfortably. Thank you. There is a very small improvement which will make this AC a nearly flawless is that if the display on the remote is inter-glow so it can be seen in the dark.
