Many troubles

I bought this model 2 months ago. Since then I have been frustrated using it. Frozen many times, and I have been updating since 6am today and now it is 2pm; not completed yet. I totally do not recommend it and miss so much of my previous Toshiba Laptop which I did not have a problem for 7 years!!! I did not even want to give one star.

Like the sloth scene in Zootopia

Comically painfully how slow this computer is. Last HP product I ever purchase. Bought it for my wife as a back up. Specs all seemed good. I may have to do a clean Windows instal to try to salvage this thing. Not sure if it's bloatware or if I spilled a gallon of coffee (beer) on this machine. HIGHLY recommend that you avoid this computer.

So. Incredibly. . . .Slow.

I barely put any files on it, I install only a few basic programs (i.e. Google Chrome) and this thing comes to a complete crawl. I've only had the computer for a few months and it takes me 30 minutes just to open a browser. Absolute waste of money.

Very Slow

Not Recommended. Worked fine the first two weeks, then began doing updates, and slowed down tremendously. Very slow laptop, ready to return it.

Noisy webcamera and noisy microphone

I bought a new HP 15-BW018CA and it came with very strong noise on webcamera and noise on microphone. Therefore using Skype is very unpleasant and there is no way to take pictures with this low quality camera. It is hardly usable.

Waste of money

Slow computer. Shouldn't be this slow, but it is. Colour on monitor is absolutely awful. Has options to calibrate. It lies. If you just need something to use for FB and typing papers or using excel, this is fine. If you want it for anything else, don't go with HP. I tried to choose a rating, but it won't let me.

Ne pas acheter

J'ai commandé l'ordinateur via le site BEST BUY. Il fonctionne très mal, il est plus lent que mon portable qui ± 10 ans. De plus, Best Buy ne veut pas l'échanger, je dois communiquer avec HP directement... N'achetez pas cet ordinateur.

Once Windows 10 updated itself it took anywhere from 8 to 12 minutes to login after a restart.

I bought it and after getting it home I let it do its windows updates. After the restart it took almost 15 minutes to get to a desktop once i put in my password. I think HP needs to work with Microsoft to figure out what the updates are breaking. As well fhere is way too much pre-installed bloatware on the system. I took it back....

DO NOT BUY!!!

Had this computer for 2 weeks, didn't use it much week 1. Week 2 the problems started, took 7-10 minutes to boot up with a blank screen staring you in the face wondering what the hell was going on. TERRIBLE. Took it back and immediately the Rep was like, "Yup we've had a ton of them being returned". DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER!!!

Does not start properly

We bought this computer 2 days ago and uploaded it the next day. After the first upload it worked fine. The problems started after the first time we turned it off. It would not boot up again and just gave us a black screen after entering our password. Checked the internet for advice and removing the battering was first thing we tried. Plugged in without the battery had the same issue. Sometimes it would start loading and then stop. We called the HP service support and they told us to return it. What a waste of time and useless frustrations!

Don't waste your time or money

Picked this up yesterday on sale and thought it would be a descent laptop. Lots of ram and a large hard drive and the touch screen were very appealing. However, this computer is beyond slow and it takes about 10 mins for it to go from the login screen to the desktop. There is definitely something wrong with it. Will be returning it.

Crashed after 4 weeks

Purchased this lap top four weeks ago. First I noticed that life of the battery was barely 2 hours (if I was lucky). Then every now and then the screen would flicker. This was followed by a total crash of the laptop. I had to return it to Best Buy for them to send it out for repair. Avoid this laptop,

WORST PRODUCT EVER

Purchased this laptop from Best buy a few weeks ago and it is incredibly slow. Asked a few IT people to take a look and they all said that it must be a manufacturer's defect and to return it after exchanging it for another laptop (same model) the same issues continue and when asking Best Buy staff to fix it they just say that its easier for them to exchange or give refund then actually resolving the problem. Can't believe that so much time was wasted. Recommend everyone to stay away from this product!!

Does what it says

It took three tries to get one that worked properly. Had issues with it locking up and with keys not functioning in the keyboard. It's not the fastest computer, but it does what it should based on the numbers. I use it mostly for work and it does good for what I need.

Very slow

The laptop just looks great but it is very slow... even slower than my 4 years old Acer. Although AMD cpu has comparable specs to Intel, it performs much worse than I thought.

Not Happy

Not happy with this. FIrst i bought it and was given the wrong laptop (the one that is 500gb/non-touch screen) but it was the same price and looked exactly the same so i thought nothing different until after i installed everything and the touchscreen wasnt working i thought but double checked the box and the employee had given me the wrong one. Now, i returned it and got the right one, after spending hours downloading and redownloading things on it, including 9+ hours with geek squad, trying to figure out WHY It will not download itunes at all. Still problem not solved and geek squad suggested i return the laptop. I was going to exchange it for the same one, but I think I will get a different one as it is super slow and everyone of the reviews on here so far seems to be having the same issues.

Sub-par processor

the laptop seems good overall specs wise, but the processor lacks a good amount of cache and cores. other reviews complain about speed, probably because of these reasons.

Avoid this laptop

Returned the first one purchased because one of the keys on the keyboard was intermittent. The 2nd one has been crashing and has been so slow that I sometimes think it is stuck on the login screen. I'm so disappointed in HP for this product.

Not That Great...

So I bought this cause I heard HP is a good computer... think again, maybe it's just this product? But anyways this laptop is very slow! I thought it was just me, cause I had it linked it to my PC desktop? Cause when I did that, everything on that laptop was going very slow! Softwares weren't responding and took a long time to open... so I restarted the whole laptop and start fresh without linking it to my desktop! I thought it was gonna be more better and run faster... think again.. it still runs slow and most softwares are very slow to open... its been a week since I got this... taking it back tomorrow

Avoid this laptop

The first one I brought home was poorly assembled and the "G" key was intermittent. I exchanged it. The second one I brought home crashed an hour after turning it on and will not reboot.
