Overall Not a Bad Computer for it's price

I was somewhat skeptical about purchasing this computer due to the negative comments online, I am a student and needed a medium power PC for school work and light gaming. I can say that this PC works perfectly fine, and is able to run any program with ease. Games such as overwatch and fortnite all run above a smooth 60 fps. If you are looking for a budget PC that's worth the money, I would highly recommend it, only when it's on sale though.

Power supply issues

I bought this computer and used it for a year and since today from what I possibly know is that the computer black screens and reboots by itself every 2 days and I'm pretty sure that the power supply is the problem

Worked great out of the box

Works great. Fairly fast and very stable. Good value especially if you purchase when on sale. Now the down side. DO NOT buy this computer if you want to put in any upgrades. It does have a good looking small box but this means it is very tight. If you want to add a video card you will have to upgrade the power supply and it will only fit a low profile card. PS - be careful with upgrading the power supply as the power plug may be blocked by the frame. Also adding a SSD drive is almost impossible due to there being no room for the cords.

Worked right out of the box

I am not a big windows fan. I started it up windows 10 loaded slick no problems. After waiting for a few hours for windows to update which in no way is the machines fault I rebooted hit F9 brought me to the boot menu. Chose to boot off the DVD I had a linux dvd install disk ready and away I went. Machine gave me no problems what so ever with the second OS install. Quick machine took under an hour for my linux install. Re booted chose linux and she fired up quick as quick. Have the two operating systems on it now and no complaints.

terrible company to deal with

Computer was defective, HP does not replace, just repairs NEW defective computers. Over a month to repair a new computer is not acceptable. Impossible to get answers at customer service, only empty promises. I am completely disgusted with HP.

Good Budget PC

PROs - Large hard drive - Lots of RAM (good thing since it's shared between the CPU and GPU) - Good computer for Internet surfing, watching videos, basic gaming CONs - Unlike the description says this system won't run power hungry games at decent frame rates Wait for it to come on sale to purchase. Recommend uninstalling all of HP applications and install AMD's latest chipset and video drivers to get good performance.

Love It!

Received as a Xmas gift and thus far find its performance excellent. Set up was incredibly easy...WiFi and blue tooth connections were effortless. PC is very quite. So far have used it to edit Xmas videos and pictures and it handles that well. Would definitely recommend.
