- Disappointing Yield- August 27, 2016
I currently own a m277 printer. Since buying said printer, I have been disappointed with how few pages I'm getting per $100 toner cartridge. In my frustration, I just did some research, and found out I am probably getting around 1500 pages. Considering I used to pay the same amount of money for the cartridges for my 2840, which gave me around 5000 pages, I'm curious how you justify charging me the same amount of money for 1/3 of the ink. The printer is somewhat decent (despite the driver issues we've been having since upgrading to Windows 10), but I'm rather annoyed at the cost of the toner. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
- As Advertised, and usually better- September 21, 2016
I have been buying these toner cartridges for my business use and have found on average I exceed the page counts they estimate. You have to be willing to extend past the initial warning you get from your printer that the toner is low and keep an eye on print quality, but often I am getting 100-300 more pages than expected. Of course, your performance may vary depending on how much color you print per page, color saturation, etc.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Name Brand Toner, Well Worth it- September 4, 2016
After using after-market toner and destroying an expensive printer I have found the name brand toner more than worth the extra cost. The companies are coming out and allowing better competitive pricing, toner subscription programs and making it easier and more affordable to maintain with the proper supplies. Print quality is noticeable better, more consistent and sharper. The tone last longer.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
