- Reasonable value- January 23, 2017
If you have an HP printer, I've found it's best to buy HP ink, rather than the cheaper generic cartridges. This is particularly true if you have a recent vintage printer (2015 or later). HP ink costs more, but when you consider the overall value of a cartridge optimized for the printer, and the quality of the resulting prints, the HP cartridges provide a reasonable value. The only exception to this rule might be if you only print black and white text documents -- you could save money with generic carts and not notice much of a difference. But if you print in color at all, and especially if you print photos, stick with HP cartridges.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- I was very impressed with this product!!!- November 12, 2013
I ordered this product thinking I would get 3 ink cartridges & some paper, & boy oh boy I was not disappointed!! The cartridges were filled with ink, AS PROMISED!!! And they fit right in my printer as if they were designed to do just that!! Also there was some pretty high quality paper included, very nice paper, very papery(or is that paperey?) Either way, you can tell some very very nice trees put their heart & soul into making this paper! Oh and the ink was the right colour too, I find that is a very important factor when purchasing replacement ink cartridges!! Kudos Best Buy! Job well done!!

- Ink Is Expensive and Runs Low Quickly- January 10, 2016
There may be little to do about printer ink; I believe companies make their money on the ink rather than the printers. Still, it costs $60 to buy new ink cartridges and all colors need to be replaced together even if not all colors are low. I printed 25 small greeting cards using colored ink and now have a message saying my ink is again low. I'd printed maybe 40 plus several black and white documents before having to replace the last cartridges (print quality became terrible even for black and white). These items were printed over a short period of time -- ink didn't have time to dry out. I'd highly recommend researching the type of ink and cost of ink used for any printer you consider buying. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
