HP 932XL Black Ink (CN053AC#140)

When printing some ink leaks onto paper causing smudges, usually at the edges.

...Re-fill inks and discount brands from other stores, even so-named HP brand as stocked in other stores than HP's own. I buy exclusively from HP now and get excellent results. I buy the longer lasting XL cartridges because they not only really do last longer, but they also save me the time of changing the cartridges out and therefor, since I do not have to change as often, it is less wear on the printer. I am an artist as well as a writer, and I say the color and mixed tones from these inks are better, longer lasting and faster drying than any others I have used. I would recommend HP inks any time for any printing application, and I especially recommend the longer lasting HP "XL" inks.

I couldn't be more disappointed!! Purchased the ink cartridge, installed in my printer and it wouldn't print a drop of ink. Returned it to Best Buy and was graciously given another. Got home, and same thing. No printing! However was told, "next time there will be no return!" So, I'm out 30 some dollars and my printer is still off line. Come to find out, B.B. is selling cartridges that are not original HP cartridges, but refills from Hati or the Dominican Republic. I didn't know this with either purchase but after the second fail I read the box and noticed they were not original HP cartridges. SO DISAPPOINTED!!!

The directions and capabilities written on the box are accurate. The larger problem may be the HP OfficeJet 6700 printer. It will quickly rips through its capacity of ink, and then will not let you print, if it is running low. It allows the printer to warn you when capacity is low, but there are no workarounds, such as using dark ink for an emergency print job. Therefore, I will typically have an extra on hand at all times. Again, the ink itself is serviceable and is probably the best I've seen for this model of printer, however being asked to review this ink is similar to being asked to comment on how shiny A crashed car is. Perfectly adequate, but also not the main problem.

I use this high-yield black ink cartridge in my HP Model 6600 Officejet printer. The ink produces excellent quality whether printing photo's, business applications or personal use. My spouse is a teacher so our printer is constantly in use. One of the main reasons I purchase the XL ink is the money I save because cartridge lasts so much longer than the standard ink cartridge. It's great for printing photo's, and I like the rich dark text it produces which makes for easy reading. It's a great value and I highly recommend this ink for anyone who uses the HP 6600 Officejet printer.
