Doesn't print as many sheets as they say

The printer has been working well, no problems. But I printed only 536 pages, most of it on mode draft and just text. Now I have to buy another toner. it's disappointing. If the toner printed the 1.600 pages it was supposed to, I would be an awesome printer.

incorrect memory, does WinXP compatible

I purchased this specifically for work because we needed something to print from a Windows XP host. First, it states that it supports Windows XP SP3, which is what we have, but during install when it asks to plug in USB cable it fails with unknown device error. CD supposed to have XP drivers, but website DOES NOT! Spent hours on with support, only to say I have to return it. Secondly, here it states it has 128MB of memory, when it really only has 32MB.

HP fails with this one

One star for the fact that it actually printed something. The wifi set up is absolute nightmare. Two hours with an IT guy to do the set up. How HP can justify selling crap like this is unbelievable. Yes, it does work when connected with the usb cable. But the point of having a wireless printer is to not have any wire connections. They must make the money on toner cartridges, because the printers are low dollar, made in china junk. No more HP products bought ever again.

connectivity fail and poor documentation

The documentation is terrible, and it took a couple of iterations to get it to work wirelessly, which it did for one print job. Since it doesn't work, and connecting to usb also doesn't work. Tried the "help tool" which didn't help Re-ran the hp 123 thing and it informed me there was a problem with the software that could not be fixed, so instructed me to uninstall and start again. I did, but the installation was unsuccesful. After several hours of mucking around, I'm returning it.

Worst Printer I've ever bought

I regret buying this. Paper jams are constant. The paper, itself, struggles to sit straight in the printer, and many times everything prints out crooked. When doing manual duplex, it ALWAYS fails to pick up just one 1 page, which means sometimes I have to restart the entire printing job. It randomly decides not to work at times, and after some manual rebooting, (literally opening and closing the top) it works fine. Sometimes, it refuses to pick up on paper whatsoever. As for its latest shenanigan, it has started to print a dark thick line across all my pages :).

Didn't work for MacBook

Could not connect this printer to a MacBook Pro. Tried to connect wireless through dual-band Rogers router but it would not connect to the router. Tried connecting by USB cable but installation procedures for the MacBook are online only at hp-123 and that would not allow for a wired connection, wireless only. Returned the product and bought a wired Brother printer.

Super easy set up!

Great little printer. At first, for every page printed it would spit out an extra blank piece of paper. By the next day it stopped doing that. The set-up was super easy and it prints really well and fast. So far I am happy with it!

what a disappintment

I managed to print about ten pages before it jammed. Huge problems getting it to clear and that was the end of any printing. It tells me it is out of paper when the tray is full. Countless tries to reinsert paper and the power keeps shutting off. No luck in resuming printing. On the way back to vendor after only 4 days.
