Very happy with this purchase. For this price most other manufacturers aren’t offering G-sync displays. It’s a solid laptop. Well-built and designed. The display is bright enough for indoor use but will struggle a bit outdoors in bright sunlight. But the 144Hz refresh rate combined with g-sync is amazing for gaming. Super smooth. Keyboard is good. Speakers are decently loud but lack much bass. Battery life is mediocre if you have the display set to 144Hz and discrete graphics enabled. 3:30 mins. If you’re not gaming and doing light tasks, switch to the integrated graphics and lower the refresh rate to 60. Then you get 5:30.

Report - Best Gaming Laptop of 2020- July 29, 2020
Trust me when I say this: I never write reviews (seriously, never). However, I just couldn't keep this under wraps nor would I want to because it would be doing HP a great disservice. This newly designed Omen for 2020, not only looks beautiful but the 2070 Super Max-Q is simple incredible. Couple that with 144hz G-Sync screen, and the advantage yours. The only caveat I have with the laptop is the sound quality - at best it's subpar. You're better off wearing a pair of cans while gaming. Other than that, you get everything that you pay for and then some. I'm so happy with this purchase and couldn't recommend this laptop enough!

Report - Excellent slim gaming laptop- September 20, 2020
I bought the new omen 15 and been using it as my daily driver for both school and gaming for over a week now and I must say this thing crushes it when it comes to thermal performance.I've never seen this level of efficient cooling in a laptop this small and at this price range. It does heat up because of the intel chip but boy can this cool things down really quickly.My only gripes with this laptop are: 1.Long hours of heavy gaming or running 3D apps will heat up the charger a lot.Like Im not even kidding,you might end up with slight burns if you're not careful.Really hate that hp is selling this beast with a tiny 200watt charger. 2.Theres coil whine,especially when the fans are at low speed.(rtx 2070 super MaxQ version) 3.The webcam is horrendously bad but thats to be expected from a gaming laptop.
