Great computer

Computer runs great. I have all of my games on high settings without any problems. My only issue with it is that it only has one HDMI port that goes into the graphics card, but otherwise it's a great computer. The side panel is really easy to access and not loose at all. There's a convenient handle on the top which makes moving it a lot easier. It also has tons of USB ports. The fan is extremely quiet and keeps it really cool. The mouse and keyboard that came included are okay, but not ideal for gaming.

I too was skeptical...

After shopping and comparing prices and specs along with the current gen of consoles and watching reviews and more reviews, I can honestly say that I am very very happy with this machine. My hard earned money well spent. Bought this during the July 2018 sale. I have tested today's triple A titles, all on Ultra settings running smooth as peanut butter melting on a freshly toasted bagel. My PS4 is collecting dust, and have converted to PC gaming. The case offers easy access for easy upgrades, and I do not find it loose at all like the review below me. To be absolutley honest, anything negative about this machine at this price point is from someone with unreachable standards. The fan runs surprisingly quiet, and keeps everything cool. Trust me when I say, money well spent. I am a very skeptical person especially when it comes to throwing down this much cash. But this is more than just a gaming PC. I am beyond happy with my HP Omen.

Good for gaming but case siding doesn't close properly.

I honestly love the computer itself but the case (for me atleast) is really lose. Ive tried to tighten the screws and what not but it didn't help in anyway what so ever.

Solid Gaming Compter

Purchased this desktop about 3 months ago during the New Year's sales. Very happy with it's performance so far. It's quiet and runs the games I play (mostly MMO's) on high-very high graphics settings at 90-120 fps with no issues. I feel like the asking price is a bit high for what your getting in the computer, but if you can pick it up on a good sale then it is well worth the investment.

HP support the worst

Very happy with the computer itself but had a damaged HDMI cable. After being passed around from one useless support agent to another, ended up talking with some dude from Rio Rancho New Mexico who, on Jan 2nd promised me I would have the cable on Jan 8. Its now Jan 15 and still no cable. Just spent the last 3 1/2 hours on the phone having talked to 8 different people, been hung up on (not on purpose) and then finally being told that it hadn't shipped and no one knows why. Was told they will expedite it asap. Cant say I'm really confident this will happen. H.P. is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Good one!

This is my second HP desktop, still a good choice at the pricing range for both of gamers and designers, FAST and QUITE.

BEAST

This thing is a beast, had a great laptop before this that could run PUBG at a decent 30 FPS (decent for an old laptop) on ultra, but this thing easy 120 FPS. This game isn't even fully optimized so i'm sure it will be able to run everything else just silky smooth Pros: - Design is just like the description, a beast, carbon fiber, sharp edges, red glow, and the folding out HD bays that make it look like something out of a star wars movie. - Power, Power, Power the i7 7700 does not bottleneck the huge GTX 1070 which makes for an ultimate gaming experience. - Absolutely ridiculous load times as OS only takes a few seconds and games take about 10. Cons: - Not to much to say about bad Note:The hard drive bays are 3.5 inch which I guess is regular but I wish they had a 2.5 inch SSD bay but that my fault for not buying the correct kind (m.2 PCIe).

Fast, but no tweaking allowed

I have only had this PC for a day and the best thing about it is that it is very fast. Fast to boot and runs games very fast. It is also fairly quiet. Also it was every easy to pop in hard drives from my old PC, they pop in through slots at the top front, so you don't even have to pop a side off. I am happy with my purchase, though if I could have afforded it would have bought the next model up. On the negative side there is no tweaking this PC. There is no overclocking through the bios or the Omen Command Center. Additionally you are supposed to be able to change the light colour on the front, but the app they provide does not record your changes(many complaints about this on the HP support forum). So you are stuck with red, on all the time.

Great desktop computer

I bought this computer a couple weeks ago, and its a lot faster than my surface pro 3 that I had. I was running AutoCAD and revit on the surface pro 3 it was fine on it but couldn't render worth anything . So I decided to upgrade to a computer that can do it all and the HP OMEN, is awesome really fast with rendering drawings that would take me almost an hour at the college and would render them out in about 30mins. And you can have multiple windows open at the same time without it lagging when rendering witch for me is a plus. The ONLY thing I notice is when I was rendering two different images at the same time, it was on the verge of over heating. so all I'm going to do is upgrade the fans that were in it and adding one more inside, then it will be good.

Noticing the difference with this one and the more expensive one this one doesn't have the glass on the side huge dissapointment.
