Do not buy this one

Bought this computer in August just prior to moving overseas- monitor flashes black every min for a few seconds- HP help is no help- offered me a pay for support option that may be better- with a phone number that declines my call. Wishing I never made this purchase- or that I was in canada to return it and buy a different brand.

Best Bang for your Dollar!

The technical specifications of this computer are high and this PC will be more than enough for any business. I have purchased a total of SIX of this computer for different people in my office. It's a great buy when they have their special discounts. I haven't had any problems with them and they all perform fast ! We have found them quick, responsive, easy to install, and allows us to have many programs open at a time. My only advice is to remove some of the extra software it comes with as it can interfere with your programs sometimes. We use our own antivirus program so it performs better than McAffee. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a great office PC.

Good for old school gaming

Had a laptop for the longest time, it finally crapped out on me (held together by duct tape), decided since I mostly game with a PC that I'd get a desktop, I mostly game old school games nothing really past release date 2012, So if your into RTS, 4x, and RPG gaming, this machine will handle it smoothly, not sure of shooter and action adventure games, but after two days of installing games so far it has over 30 games installed (using about 100GB) and has not slowed down one bit. perfect for an old school gamer like me!

Gaming?

I want to game on this but it needs a better graphics card. I don't have this purchased but I want to know how big the graphics card slot is so I could throw in a different graphics card. The one I have picked out right now is a gt 1030 2 gb gddr5 on Amazon.

Lousy Computer

Network card seems useless, disconnects from the LAN every five minutes, none of the possible solutions on-line works. Connecting two monitors (1 VGA, other HDMI) results in one of the monitors flashing on and off every five seconds. Nothing but trouble. Updating drivers does nothing to help. Waste of money

Great computer for school or everyday applications/ No issues.

I've had this computer for about 6 weeks now. Works well with Photoshop, Microsoft suite. No issues at all it's quiet, fast. Is it a good gaming computer? Im not a gamer so I wouldn't know. Works well for everyday application. I would recommend this computer.

A LEMON OF A COMPUTER

I bought this computer as the specs are pretty decent for the price. Within a hour of having it and doing the initial installations myself, I got the GSOD. Nothing I did (either update the video card as per the website specs nor doing the windows upgrades) helped. I returned the computer the next day and the store informed it must just be a fluke in the hardware. I figured that was possible so they gave me a new one and I had the GeekSquad do the full installation and add a better video card. !0 mins into getting it plugged in at home, it shuts itself down. No GSOD, just shuts itself down. I call GeekSquad and they cannot even connect virtually as the hardware was shutting itself down every 5-8mins before they could even connect. A LEMON. I will be returning this one and NEVER buying it again.

NO LINUX SUPPORT FROM HP; IMPOSSIBLE TO INSTALL LINUX MINT

It was impossible to install linux mint and have it running but the hard drive worked on another separate computer. HP support said they only support Windows. I don't recommend this product, I am returning it for a refund.
