  • Good for small surround speakers too!
Verified BuyerReviewed by Turbotaxreview - February 13, 2021

It's a cable! What could be wrong! Well; it's a skinny cable. So shielding from electromagmetic interference could be a problem. And since it's advertised as a "subwoofer" extender cable, that could lead to induced hum, especially if you run it parallel to the power wire going to you sub. Such are the 1 star reveiws I've read. However, I didn't buy for subwoofers. I bought for small satellite surround speakers attached to my soundbar, and they work great for that, as they don't reproduce sound in the "hum" range. AND the tiny wire fits nicely under baseboard in a carpeted room. So... as a subwoofer extender, I don't know, but for small surround speakers - perfect! Note: they're $20. If you need Monster cable for a long run next to power wires, then pay for Monster cable.

  • Annoying Humming Noise
    Verified BuyerReviewed by Doc2020 - January 9, 2021

I purchased this cable for my new Klipsch - Reference Series 10" 150W Powered Subwoofer. There was an annoying humming noise that could be heard. I thought the subwoofer was defective, thus returning it for a replacement. When I hooked up the replacement subwoofer with the cable, the noise was still there. I then purchased a Monster400SW Subwoofer Cable, and when I connected it to the subwoofer the humming noise was completely gone. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this cable.

  • Good Value choice
Verified BuyerReviewed by Snakster - September 26, 2020

I have not been able to find my good connector yet from a recent move. I bought this value connector as a stop gap until I find the right box. Seems to do the job pretty well. Typically I would give something like this 5 stars based on value proposition, but there is something about the build that leaves me wondering about durability. I’ve see it too much. As a stop gap, it’s perfect. Long term, I’m not so sure. Fortunately I shouldn’t need to test that hypothesis.
