Bought this TV a little over 6 months ago and the screen decided to spiderweb while no one was even in the house. As others have done, I did not purchase any kind of warranty, thinking the TV would surely last a lot longer than 6 months. Called Geek Squad and was told there was nothing they could do and to contact Insignia warranty department. So I did. Spoke to someone who spoke very broken english and explained my issue. She opened a case on the complaint and said I would get an email or phone call in 2-3 business days. Two weeks later and still nothing. So I call Geek Squad again and they set up a time for someone to come look at it. Tech calls a few hours before he's suppose to be there and asks for a picture of the TV. So I text him a picture of it and he tells me it internal damage and to contact Insignia and that it's a manufacturer issue. No kidding. So I have been passed back and forth and still don't have an answer on whether or not they are going to honor the manufacturer's warranty on it. Sorry for the long post. I just feel like my hard earned money was taking from me for a piece of junk. Long story short. Insignia is garbage and I will never again buy ANY of their products and Best Buy has lost a long time customer in me and others that I can spread the word to.

I bought this TV to replace my old LCD in the basement. It was 12 years old and I just wanted something larger with 1080p support. Simplicity and price were important to me when selecting a new TV. The picture quality is excellent and I love the sleek design. Very happy so far!
