Same as Apple TB2 cable for less

I purchased this cable on sale. It’s quality is at least as good as Apple accessories. Best Buy could use a better description for this cable. It is in fact labelled as compatible with TB1 and TB2 devices. Capacity up to 20 Gbps. Specifically states on the packaging good for displays, hard drives and other peripherals. Excellent buy and good quality.

Claims to be Thunderbolt 2 but only supports original speed.

This may be mislabeled but Thunderbolt 2 devices are capable of 20 Gbps. This one only supports 10Gbps. Although it may work between TB2 devices you'll only get half the capable speed. I believe this is actually a Thunderbolt cable, not Thunderbolt 2
