peice of garbage

it didn't work, only one device sort of worked while the others didn't work, the main problem with it is that the hub is under powered it needs at least 12 volts if you want to hook up multiple high end device, like storage, mouse and keyboard, controller, and other devices at the same time and with no issues. I would recommend t-plink 7 port 3.0 media hub, it is 12 volts I got two of them one for my xbox one x and my gaming latop no issues what so ever and can run three drives a cooling pad and multiple io at the same time with no issues.

Great device

I had an old hub that needed replacement. I got this one, plugged it in and it works perfectly. No issues and no conflicts.

nice hub

The review below me says that speakers makes a beeping sound when plugged on the hub. I have my gaming headset plugged in the hub and it is working perfectly (sound + microphone same quality as if directly plugged on laptop)

No audio

I bought this to handle all my extra USB 3 peripherals which include 3 SFF HDs, Plantronics Skype cert headset, Microsoft HD LifeCam, and a Microsoft Surface LAN adapter. Everything works for the most part except the audio from my headset now doesn't pass through clearly to the other side. It creates massive feedback preventing me from hearing them and creating an ugly sound for them to hear instead. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON USING IT FOR AUDIO.

Works great, especially with a smart TV!

I bought this about a year ago because I needed a powered USB hub to run my portable external hard drive to my smart TV. Also, my TV only came with 1 USB port and I wanted to attach my hard drive as well as a wireless keyboard to my TV at the same time. The product works flawlessly and gives the extra amps to the portable external hard drive that it needs to run (The TV's USB port alone does not put out enough amps to run a portable external hard drive properly). I am able to view files and play movies on my external hard drive to my smart TV without any issues and use my wireless keyboard all at the same time.

It works and I am happy with it.

I bought this because I just bought an iMac, and I needed extra USB ports for my various peripherals. It works just fine, and I have no regrets.

Not great but work for the most part

I bought two of these, the 4 port and 7 port .... they charge very slowly and the power adapter is so loose where it connects it takes very little for it to come out so if it is sitting on a table and you move something around it easily disconnects. I took it to Europe with me and for some reason neither the 7 nor the 4 port unit would work with iPhone or our tablets. It seems to struggle with the European current but did work on my Samsung Galaxy S5 albeit very slow to charge. They are cheap and you get what you pay for. That was my experience and opinion and yours may be different.

I couldn't use it.

I don't know if the unit I got was defective or not but I couldn't use it. After I hooked it all up and finally plugged it in, the audio on my computer stopped. When I unplugged the hub the sound came back. I returned the item.
