absolute rubbish,extremely slow , save your 200$

This has been the worst most slowest tech i bought , it takes a long time to load anything but what do u expect from a 2GB ram . i also have problems with the battery it wont charge sometimes and the hdmi display looks dull after i spent another 25 dollars on it , what a waste of money

tablet with keyboard for a great price

My family loves this device. Kids can practice typing on the keyboard and you don't need a stand to hold the screen up. It runs all the popular apps for movies and video games too. Detachable into tablet mode it runs just like the popular Japanese tablets. It is heavy, but it also has great functions like 2 USB ports for connecting a mouse or full-size keyboard, micro-HDMI output (go big screen), blue tooth, headphone jack and even expandable memory allows you to download big files like movies, even make movies with the built in camera. We bought 2 on sale in 2016 and still going strong.

Don't waste your money

Bought this table in April and by August the wireless adapter was no longer working, their only option for me was to take it in and get it fixed, which I am not interested in doing because the tablet was horrible and mind numbingly slow from the very beginning...their is a reason these tablets are cheap!!!!

Insignia Flex 11.6" Tablet Loses Connectivity with Windows Update

I ordered the Insignia Flex 11.6" Tablet on line from Best Buy. It arrived quickly and set-up seemed easy. It made the WiFi connection and advised that there were updates to Windows to be made - which I allowed That seemed to wipe out the WiFi connection. Took the item to the nearest Best Buy and was given a replacement. Went through the same drill and had the same fried connectivity problem. Took it back for a refund. My brother, who had bought the same Tablet less than a year ago and recommended it to me, had the same connectivity problem just now after allowing the Windows-prescribed update. It would seem that this flaw in software is going to be costly to Microsoft and Best Buy if the problem is widespread. The Best Buy employee who gave me my refund evinced no particular concern about the inconvenience all this had caused me.

WTH? Please do not even...

The company I work for needed something simple and portable to take into meetings to make notes , connect to the internet, scheduling ect... This was purchased through the Webstore and was instantly disappointed when it was delivered. First it was delivered with hardly any packaging, no documentation and everything was loose in the box. When we powered it up it lasted for about 2 min, so we charged it overnight, yet the tablet would not power up the following morning. We took it back to the local BestBuy and was exchanged for brand new without any issues with customer service. Second device worked... initially... After about 3 days of use Windows 10 required a current update. After the update and the tablet restarted it would not connect to our wifi network, after troubleshooting the issue we discovered that Windows had completely removed all the necessary network drivers from the system. Again we spoke to the Local BestBuy and was exchanged with no issues thinking that maybe this was a random glitch. With the third device, again was good for a couple days till Windows 10 completed the required update... Again all necessary network drivers had been removed during the update and no where to be found in the operating system! Quite frustrated at this point as this was needed for our office meetings we again approached BestBuy and have now returned the unit and awaiting the delivery of a completely different brand of Tablet & Keyboard. Saying all this, BestBuy customer service at the local store in Peterborough Ontario has been excellent and very helpful in assisting through these issues.

Hoping it was better.

Ordered online from open box. I was looking for a 2-1 laptop to replace my iPad that just gave up on me with a windows product that would work better for my business. Overall this is what I found: great screen, true windows 10 which runs a bit slower probably due to the 2gb ram. I think 4gb would have been better. Battery life seems on spec. It was much heavier than I thought and the 11.6 display felt almost to long in my hands. Overall I found it to slow and heavy for me to be comfortable with. The keyboard was actually better than expected. I think if they were able to shave off a pound in weight ad add 2 more go to memory it would have been a slam dunk. In the end I returned it to the store and now I'll look for a chrome book.

0 stars would be better

Just received this - "Certified" open box. Certified. Booted it up, started the Windows 10 setup process, got to Express/Custom settings, could see 'Just a moment'.... and then blank. Restarted. It's done that about 50 times now. Continually restarts at the same spot. Figured out how to get into other settings on boot, selected 'Reset this PC', but just showed an error. Tried starting in Safe Mode... and it rebooted again. Same thing. Certified? Does Best Buy understand what that means? This is a certified hunk of crap. Buyer beware.

I got exactly what I expected

For the price, this tablet/keyboard was exactly what I expected - a basic, functional windows 10 device. I don't need lots of power or bells and whistles and certainly don't want to overspend on things I don't need.

Nice price- a good purchase

This is slower than the high end machines, but it's more than adequate for the casual browser; the graphics are very good, all the windows functions are there to give you a smooth transfer from using your desktop (which you want to keep). the tablet lifts off the base easily and the transfer in function relatively smooth. The screen size is nice after using a 7" tablet, better for reading and video. If you insist on the highest performance, you can expect to spend at least another 400-&500 and up. This is your best buy in the basic market.

Good and Bad

Good: - Fast processor -Connects to internet very quickly -Good for light surfing and word processing. I have not tried streaming video yet. -I like the 2 usb ports. -It's easy to connect/disconnect the keyboard. -I've come to terms with what I can and cannot do with it, and for the price, I'll keep it...though I would probably make another decision in the future. Bad: -The 32gb hard drive is ridiculously small. -I expanded the memory by using the micro SD card for another 128gb, yet even though I've told it to save to the card, it doesn't always. -Had to do a factory reset within the first week because I put too much on the hard drive, and then couldn't remove the whole program, so my hard drive was so jammed I couldn't do anything. -If three windows are open, it completely freezes and have to do a hard reboot. -When keyboard is attached it's HEAVY for such a small computer. -Had to order other charging cables because the one that comes with it is SHORT SHORT SHORT -The connector for the charger is USB-c - which....WHY???? -IF you want to disable the touchpad, you have to completely disable the whole mouse then use an external one. Unlike earlier versions of Windows, it doesn't automatically disable when another mouse is plugged in. This is VERY annoying.

Great for the price

This is a good media consumption device. It's not really intended for productivity like a full featured laptop but it will run productivity software. That being said, I don't think you can beat this device at this pricepoint. The 1080P screen is nice and clear and the touch response is good. I like the fact it is windows based which allows it to work well with the other pc's and devices on my home network. The screen docks and removes easily. Unlike another reviewer I found the case and build quality solid. Battery life is good. The one caveat is weight. It is a heavy device and the heft of the tablet portion is somewhat unbalanced. Although the 32GB onboard flash is limited I installed a 128GB micro SDXC card which has given me plenty of space. Bluetooth headphones go great with it as well. It charges through the USB C port on the tablet half. It has a USB 2.0 port on each side which makes connectivity flexible. Wireless performance is excellent. I've used it for web surfing, email and even KODI with no issues. A good device for the money.

You Get What You Pay For

The good: The device functions well as a basic computer/tablet with good enough specs for most basic tasks. It's 32-bit Windows 10, without Office products. It's snappy enough as long as you don't have too much running. Works well for web surfing, movies, music, basic gaming and other basic tasks. The screen is pretty nice. The bad: Doesn't feel like a nice device. The plastic on the keyboard clicks and compresses where it shouldn't, which worries me when it comes to the build and durability. Cheap-feeling comes to mind. The 32GB internal memory will be 80-90% consumed after initial setup, so a microSD card is almost a guaranteed need. The speaker(s) sound about as good as a tin can, so if you're fussy about that be prepared to use headphones or external speakers. Like the title says, you get what you pay for. The product offers a scaled-back MS Surface experience at a much reduced price.
